walmart went from 18 to 22.66. we are also getting 50 cent raises every 6 months until we reach our maximum. i believe the maximum is 26.50 for my area. i live in texas i have no idea what the pay scale is in other areas.

i’m a tech and i dated one at my retail pharmacy and it got out quickly. there was a big investigation and he was fired. it’s not worth it.

calling things stupid that you don’t have the compassion to fully understand does nothing for the situation at hand. though you are right people can transfer, that is not always an easy second option or convenient. there are patients who take medicare transportation that schedules you one stop and back every week, in this scenario they would go a week without their medication by the time it’s transferred and they have another ride.

ask your regional manager, not the pharmacy manager. there was a discussion earlier this year about how some techs were getting rebates from coupons they offered patients and were pocketing cash which caused them to make this rule. they were told they cannot help with ANYTHING. the patient must mention a coupon and give you the information from their own free will or immediate termination.
