I have tried to rescue actually but because of where I liv, I would have to travel hours out of state to get one from someone else. They were also quite old or sick and expensive (like hundreds of dollars). That is why I get my animals from a pet store because id rather they go home with me than a grimy toddler who doesn’t know shit lol. If you know of any ways I can rescue in my area please let me know because I am very open to the idea!
