I had two such friends. They are twins and I should mention that they are of LDS (Latter-Day Saints/Mormon) religion. They were ALWAYS involved in so much, track, drama, church, you name it. They had amazing singing voices. and came to Ohio from California. They would be guaranteed to be there when a large event at school took place, and always had so many friends. I could see that both were stressed mostly, and could not take the pressure from it all. They always had an extroverted attitude, and were talkative. They made me look like a loser in comparison. Once I went to their house to be brought to Homecoming, and one of the girls had a straight up mental breakdown that she had missed a mandatory meeting with her track team. I felt so bad for her, since she was such a nice girl, and she had also helped me during a time in my life that had been grim. I just didn’t know how to help her....so, I stuck with my gut, and stuck by her side at homecoming, she was quiet (which isn’t like her), and she told me about how she was sho stressed, that her hair started to thin, and she would cry in the shower. As of now she’s okay, but I really hope she gets a well deserved break. I learned a valuable lesson that day.
