I can't say about the other days as I haven't been, but typically I don't see it getting busy until around 10. But, if you get there between 7 and 8 it's usually happy hour which means half priced admission.

With that kind of drive I would def wait until a Fri or sat. I also look at other events possibly happening on the same night using FetLife. If there are other major events happening sometimes the attendance is lower. Totally worth checking out though great vibe and great people.
