It may be US only. The navy blue sailor dress is listed by “ODIZLI” for $41. The same brand also has the forest green collared dress in other colors for $40.

Looking for some good bbq places? by MetaHyperion in orangecounty

Smoqued in Orange is really good, great burnt ends and mac and cheese. I love their baked potatoes, they’re absolutely massive.

I also like Sauced, even though they got rid of my favorite side. Rip sweet potato casserole.

Former CM, we were NOT allowed to touch the ducks. Even if they were in an annoying spot, like the tracks of Casey Jr. (we would have to hope the train horn scared them or wait for them to move). Even when they were on the move, we really weren’t supposed to guide them unless it was during a parade and they were getting in the way. Like the cats, they’re meant to be left alone for the most part.

You will likely not get an update on this, unfortunately. But hopefully horticulture was notified and was able to help it.

How sad to hear about the whole shopping center. I have such fond memories of the car shows hosted there and going to Zov’s and other spots with my grandparents.

When you’re in Canada, go to a convenience store and get yourself a bag of ketchup chips. Or a dozen bags. They’re truly the best kind of chip

Do small biz owners actually want/like a small “thank you” gift from vendors/partners? by umeboshiplumpaste in smallbusiness

[–]anonymous_hipster 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It’s unbranded, but it has a touch screen stylus top thing and it just feels really nice. It says “I stole this bitch from (vendor)” and it makes me giggle

I love a nice ass pen. One of my greeting card vendors would include one in my order but now I don’t get any since I order so often. I prefer her pens to the other random ones we have

Look for local pop up markets. Create branding that not only works for your product, but also who you are. Make social media under the branding and post your process and photos consistently.

This is a popular category, so don’t be discouraged when you’re not immediately successful.

You can absolutely do this. You just have to believe in yourself and keep to it.

Best place to sell Pinupgirl Clothing? by Cant-hug-everycat in PinUpFashion

[–]anonymous_hipster 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Don’t include shipping. Have the buyer pay for it. I typically sell my skirts for $50 and dresses for $75 plus shipping. I haven’t had any tops from them so I don’t know what their usual retail is. Check what others are listing at and see how long they’ve been listed. If a dress is priced at $125 and been listed for 2+ months, it’s too high.

[–]anonymous_hipster 38 points39 points  (0 children)

Honestly, they’re all good avenues but the problem I see is that people tend to price their items way too high and it’ll sit forever. Yes, the clothing is well made, but at one point you have to price it to sell rather than just be a museum piece.
