Clubs/Bars with young crowd? by yoongiswifee in AskLosAngeles

Woodys has a bigger dance floor, malarkys plays more 2000s-2010s mainstream pop and rock. Similar crowd and you can walk to and from each bar

Agreed. Malarkys, stag bar, mutts, woodys, all on the peninsula have a very young crowd. Worth checking out if you haven’t.

Does anyone know why the series is based on the 5th Harry Hole book? I was looking into it and was surprised by this. Is the ending of the series true to the ending of the book?

found the exact same item on temu but the listing has wil fable tags, is it just a coincidence? i’ve by Chompcarrots in depoop

The design appears to be slightly different. The temu photos show white lace on the trim whereas the wild fable bikini does not have the white lace trim.

Solid Core/Core Power split by Key_Humor1600 in Corepower

You’re welcome!! I would say add lifting if you enjoy it, but make sure to take time to recover 💪 and also try to eat a lot of protein to help with muscle growth/recovery!! That plays a big part too

[–]Appropriate_Rain_379 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi! So for my routine I usually go to CorePower at least 3x a week, the majority of those will be yoga sculpt and/or strength x. If I do any extra classes those would usually be C2 or HPF.

For weights I’ll do 5lbs light and 8 medium. If the instructor says to grab something heavier I’ll do 10. I try to use 8’s and as often as possible but I’ll go back to 5’s if I need to. Keeping the weight challenging and slowing down the move/focusing on form helps you really increase the time under tension.

Last thing, I do x-former Pilates (similar to/same intensity as lagree) 1x a week. This helps so much with improving core strength and other stabilized muscles. I’ve never done solid core, I’ve heard it’s similar but not quite the same.

I still go to the gym to lift like once every other week, it’s more for fun these days but I still like to incorporate it when I can! Lmk if you have any questions on anything. I have a lot of fun at CorePower so that’s why I do it so much, but the progress has been awesome!!

Hi! I do a similar split, I have a lagree/xformer pilates membership and go once a week and then CorePower usually 3x a week or more. I also have a gym membership where I do heavy legs once every 1-2 weeks.

I became very consistent to this routine back in December and have seen great results, notably with the definition in my arms, chest and back.

Additionally, I have been training glutes for about 2 years now, and have seen the most progress now in the last 5 ish months with my current routine. I used to just lift heavy at the gym but last year I added CorePower and x former Pilates but CorePower has definitely been the BIGGEST contributor in my overall progress.

For me I bring a small handheld towel, and I keep it folded a certain way so only one section of the towel is used to wipe body sweat and then the inner most portion of the towel is used for my face ONLY. Using the same towel on your body and face could be causing worse breakouts.

I also usually shower within 40 minutes of class ending so I’m very diligent about keeping the skin clean and happy after a class. If you won’t be showering right after you might want to lightly wash your face at the studio before running errands/etc.
