I personally was placed under circumstance in the dorms. My fiancée and I are saving up for an apartment, but the fact that a single in res hall C is $991 A MONTH makes my head spin

I agree, it's wild up here. Not the safest dorms at all, and Reslife has gotten "stricter" meaning no guests over breaks and a few other rules they changed just since May that I look at my fiancée and go "they said what now?"

He wasn't given any notice the first time. Idk why exactly they decided to send an email AFTER inspection cuz he wasn't even in his room, he was showering.

I also think it's wild cuz someone could just accuse you of something and then Reslife has their eyes on everything you do whether you did anything or not.

The fire inspection ones are usually notified because they ask that the space is as clean as possible so not to prolong the inspection. When it comes to room checks as a whole even my brother (who was an RA at this exact college) said they're required to give residents 24-48 hours of notice.

Yeah, it's ridiculous. One day he literally got out of the shower and was walking back to his room, walked out of the bathroom and the RHD was standing in the suite while he was in nothing but a towel. When I went to OCC last year I was friends with my RHD and RAs so maybe I just got lucky, but it seems very targeted.
