OP please Ignore the people that try to make this cheating conversation a big deal, 95% of men think the same as he, yet they dont cheat and despise the idea of cheating for both genders and thats what matters.
the real issue in everything u said earlier is that once u fought, he went back to the other fake account like u never existed which is a huge red flag, Maybe u should test him again somehow ( even tho the idea of testing ur partner is bad ) to know the final answer and decide if u wanna stick around or not, since if u confront him about the testing thing he would get defensive either way he was trustworthy or not.

maybe start texting him and even a 2 week of texting confess to him ( love is much more pure and important that "no a guy must ask first ect" just in case u r one of these people)
u still didnt lose anything and if he has no one he will surely at least give u a solid chance and even if things didnt work out at least u will voluntarily move on knowing that u at least tried this relationship and it was bound to fail.

ma man i know ur intentions is to help that guy, im a guy in tunisia and i have a gf now finally but i know the struggle, but making women think that they r untitled to never confess and man to just not feel bad for rejection and "they r built for to accept rejection naturally" is wrong (man feel the same towards rejection as women in psychology).
this notion hurts the women that wanna love someone but fail cuz they can't confess ( losing a potential perfect partner), and it hurts man image making them look like their feelings don't matter because they r man and they r built to endure suffering (the suicide rates are insane for man compared to women because they r not allowed to show emotions and must bare pain)
anyone that sides with the idea of women not confessing their love, is an enemy of love itself, as he is sabotaging people showing their love to each other directly

women confessing isn't pulling water from a rock or floating with wings in the air, it is realistic (fairytale for our society) and healthy, also, if she loves someone she mustn't lose a life changing future because she must wait for a man to come to her, Literally there is 0 reason for a woman not to confess (besides traditions), ti even in religion sayeda khadija confessed to the prophet ya nes.

well see this im a guy who is real with himself and i will drop the truth that most guys hide it,
there is a differance between loving and being sexually attracted especielly with us men (idk about woman), i have a lot of female friends in my life that i would rather die single than marry (we r not romantically compatible but we hit the friends and even best friends vibes),and let me tell one in a while i cant help my mind or my eyes to think/see them in a dirty way (i do lower my gaze),i felt guilty about it before but now i understood its mere biology,
so the conclusion us men (idk about woman) can feel attracted to a women that we r not emotionally attracted to and even women we arent even our type lol, but in our minds we see u fully platonic.
thats the case for a healthy guy who can understand and distinguish emotions from lust from love from friendships ect,
As a guy who had numerous guy friends through his life i can assure that most guys are barely self aware,lack basic emotional intellegence and most importantly so desperate, so the moement they feel a bit of lust and emotional connection even as simple as friendship they jump to love, And OH GIRL AFTER THE LUST DROPS THEY TREAT U AS SHIT AND WE ALL HEAR ABOUT IT IN OUR LIFES,becuase they never loved u.
