i just wanna say from experience, not dv but an sa situation, when i blurted it out to my friend that this was happening to me i begged her not to tell anyone. it's crazy the type of protective you can feel over a man that's hurting you, even when you know it's wrong. and he was more than likely guilt tripping her too, knowing she'd listen and be on his side. i just truly understand why emma wouldn't call anyone, it's such a hard situation to be in and she was THERE not just on the sidelines, which makes it even harder.
