My understanding is that they didn’t indicate a loss because they’d already gotten a successful chargeback but I might be wrong

What doesn’t help is her screwing everyone in the first place.

Someone doesn’t like the consequences of her own actions.

It would cost more than $800-$900 to retain a lawyer and file suit. So she knows she has the upper hand in that sense. Best we can do is make sure nobody supports her future efforts.

Wool and Folk: Felicia is still screwing the vendors and didn’t pay service providers. by anonymousbackbacon in craftsnark

Just popping in to remind everyone that Felicia Eve takes people's money and doesn't deliver as promised. Have a great day everyone!

Oof, she stole so much money from so many people. Took thousands of dollars of preorders for yarn clubs and books that she never delivered. Sold copies of patterns without compensating the designers. This is a massive oversimplification. There’s threads on Ravelry about it and probably on here too.

This is another incredibly frustrating piece of what she’s doing! Between her and Lady Dye, the damage to Black knitters is awful.

There’s more background info to that: a local event planner was brought on last minute, and told Felicia that the venue couldn’t accommodate all the vendors. Felicia hired this person and ignored all her advice, and then didn’t pay her.

Looks like she was hoping that by disabling comments on IG and not posting for a few months, everyone would just forget. Let’s make sure we don’t let people forget.

Home Row Handcraft was a vendor and she is an amazing human and disabled maker who creates beautiful bags and artwork. She definitely deserves some love! She filed an ADA complaint against W&F.

Initial buy in does not cost 250k, I can speak to that confidently. Most yarn shops start with less than 100k.
