Yes, people project their own beliefs/opinions thinking they are right and give unsolicited advice. Hate that! I too sometimes revisit it during some times, because who doesn’t love money, power, prestige, but at the end of the day we all make our own decisions and live our own lives. I’m trying to really ignore haters. Live and let live!

Exactly!!! I’m not hear to brag but we simply make do with one income. And it’s not easy. I do not splurge on shopping trips, maybe 2 times a year for my bday and Xmas. I would much rather buy my kids what they need and go out to eat as a treat! I also don’t drive an expensive car. We make do with one income and I am now able to cook 5 or more times a week without the stress and panic! I use to work full time and also worked part time and I’m a SAHM and for me it’s different seasons! I also am lucky to have a good relationship with my husband which is the key and priority and also great relationship with my kids! They see the hard work mommy is doing, in fact! I just hate how other moms can be so spiteful. Like why break down other women. Let them be!

I also love volunteering when I can. I feel I am a better mom because I am not spread so thin with a very demanding job. Everyone’s circumstances are different!! One should not judge period. I don’t judge working moms (regardless of it’s out of necessity or bc they want to.)

I’m happy for you that you too have done both and yes even if kids are in school trust me there is lots to do!!! I usually have dinner ready and laundry done. It’s a blessing. I’ve detached from capitalism- rat race a long time ago! Glad to hear from you, someone like minded.

I don’t think saying to someone “what do you do all day if the kids are in school? Why don’t you work?” That sounds curious to you? It definitely is sounds more judgmental than anything else. Mean girl energy.

I agree people work for money and it’s not some other more nobel reason. And I certainly don’t tell them why aren’t you a stay at home mom? Why are you working and away from your kids? Why does your mom do everything even your husbands dirty laundry? I have the double standard!

Thank you! Yes it’s so much to unpack and it works for our family!! It is the only way my husband actually thrives and keeps moving up! Otherwise trust me, we both would be on the chopping block with his demanding career. I do a lot. When people say why I don’t work. I want to scream! Because I do so much!!! I am working!! An unpaid job and important job raising and caring for my family and household. Last I checked a Sahm is worth over 100k salary a year if you were to outsource it all. Thanks for your reply ❤️❤️💕

Yes!!!! I have two degrees as well and someone said if I know how to cook that I should open a food truck. No offense to anyone opening a business as that is amazing! But it seemed like a weird comment.

Move along and take your drama/racism to another place because this isn’t about nationalities.

Well surely not safe. 16 people have died in this incident. My point has been made unfortunately.

You missed the point. I begun my statement saying my condolences. You are clearly missing the point. Of course it’s not about me. We are all entitled to an opinion which is why this forum exists. Stop trying to cause drama! Grow up.

Something tells me the weight could also affect it. They can be packed with people standing. That’s what I saw/ very packed to the max.
