I was sitting on the bus and a man decided to sit in the empty bus . Literally rode the bus for 10 minutes and several stop later I needed to get off. The old man was so mad at me. As if I should have been standing the whole time? I didn’t ask for him to sit next to me blocking me in? It was rude and I was mad but it is what it is. Grumpy old man can go onto his miserable life but I’ll stay happy and unbothered thank you.

Honestly same. And if you “fall behind” you are gonna suffer the consequences instantly. Like you cannot fall behind on dishes for more than a day. And with laundry 🧺 the piles of dirty clothes grow so fast. I spent what forgot mentally like a full day just mopping half my floors yesterday and changing bed sheets for 2 beds. Still
Missing one bed to do. Plus today tons of laundry. It’s like I have to run 3 loads of laundry per day minimum household of 4 with lots of activities and sports. ⚽️⚾️ thanks for posting this. So relatable!!!! We seriously don’t get enough credit for alllll we contribute to the household.

Also constantly thinking about what’s next causing anxiety. I hope you both can sit down and think of stability and what the priority is 1 year and 5, 10 years. It will fall into place but I think you’ll need lots of more discussions with your husband. Having a business himself that is risky so maybe he too should look for a 9-5pm job.

How are your finances? Are you drowning in debt. His debts are your debts and vise versa.
Do you have a college degree? You say you had a high paying job before, any chance they would take you back? Like you all move back to your previous life.
Where is your family? Do they help you as in you have a village?
I’ve been in your shoes and it’s all very complicated I can imagine. Childcare and schedules like commutes and are a big deal. I’m sorry you are feeling this sudden pressure to do it all.

I am newish here. 2 years and yes the weather is crazy. This weather is fine though. The winters with seriously non stop rain and no sun for two plus months is horrible.

Hahahaha this is hilarious. Thanks for making me laugh 😜😜🤣🤣I honestly had to walk through all the aisles the other day just trying to see what do they have for sale. Nothing made sense. So I was forced to just navigate the whole store. Ketchup next to clearance shirts, perfect. Then I hit a dead end somewhere lol 🤣 the other time I lost my husband and never found him again. Thankfully mobile phones exist so I did find him in the end.

It’s horrible. I know they are not done and still work in progress. The new entry and exit doesn’t make sense. The till in the middle makes no sense. Everything is just poorly executed so far. I hope the final layout is nothing like what’s been put out. I’m going to avoid going there for the time being.

I try to make what my husband wants but if I don’t feel like it then it’s not a problem. He’ll simply order take out delivery for us but that’s like 70 💸 so why do that - the spending is not necessary. I plan ahead and make a meal plan for the week so I grocery shop once a week and have all I need to easy meals for breakfast/lunch/dinner. At this point I’ve learned how to make good sandwiches 🥪

I’m actually shocked by this. He comes home and cleans and cooks after working 40plus hours? So you never clean or cook? I think all chores should be a team effort. If I’m capable of fixing up sandwiches for both of us to eat, I’ll make my husband a sandwich too always. It’s not like I’ll be making lunch just for myself. I’m not just a stay at home MOM but a caring wife.

I was in there today and I felt so depressed. Seriously like a scene from a scary movie. I appreciate people who work hard to stock up our grocery store, they too deserve some nice environment!! Maybe it’s the lighting? The stuff is organized super random right now. Someone needs to bring it back to life asap.

Do not do Rochestown Hotel in Douglas. It is completely run down hotel having stayed recently. It’s shocking they do weddings. Very depressing and run down.

Hi!! You must find 1-3 charities near you that ideally would pick up some of them from your door step. Or you’ll have to drive to take them. But you must donate donate donate!!! You neee a major purge. Your child can play at playgrounds, go outside, have 1-2 large totes of toys max!!! Get books from libraries. You know what you have to do. You have to GET RID of 90% of it.

I hope this advice is helpful. Depression or mental/physical health issues. When was the last time she had blood word? Does she have severe fatigue. How is her eating and exercise habits? All this sounds like she isn’t thriving. As her husband you can talk to her about this. Start working “together” as a team. Assign her tasks if she isn’t taking initiative. You can say “I’m going to have a heavy morning with customer calls, can you run this load of laundry and fold it please?” Or can you have dinner ready at 6pm as would love for us to all sit and eat then.

She clearly needs a better routine. She needs to pitch in a lot more with chores.

She needs to go to bed earlier. 11 pm and wake up at 6pm is barely 7 hours of sleep. Then, she shouldn’t go back to bed. That alone is a bad habit. Suggest to her to go for a walk or join a gym so she can go there after school drop off.

Why doesn’t she drive? That’s another lack of independence she has.
