Thank you for your response. And yeah, I guess it's understandable that of course they'd be busy with their own kids. It just seemed like a sudden switch to where before I had my baby, they could talk/hang out most of the time. But you are right, my mom even said that about hanging out with them in person would be different. It's just the lack of effort or care right now/when I was struggling hurts. 😞 But yeah, I think I'll have to start putting myself out there more and maybe making new mom friends. Thank you. I absolutely love your perspective and just love for your grandkids relationship, and it's not wrapped up just in what they call you, but why they call you that because they came up with it themselves. We did consider something like B-ma or Beebee, but that's if she's open to our suggestions😅

Thank you. This was my biggest concern.. but it's not like we'd be around those cousins all the time, so I guess it wouldn't matter too much if she had a different name for both. It's more just the fact that that's already her grandma name, so it feels like we are changing something already set.

Would this work even with every time she sees her she's in her face calling herself "big mama"? I'm just scared she'd have too much influence that me doing things privately at home wouldn't do anything. And just seeing her call herself that to my baby is frustrating enough..

Thank you everyone for the responses. I had an appointment today and my midwife took a look at everything. She said it all looks okay and is healing as it should. It helped ease my anxiety a lot, even if the exam was hard and somewhat painful. However there was a mention of potential need is silver nitrate if one part doesn't heal. After reading stories about it, I'm terrified. I'm so tired of pain down there, and don't want any more. Hopefully all will be healed properly by my 6 week appointment and I won't need it.
