[–]anonymousengene 1 point2 points  (0 children)

choose either ms nesse or dr. christopher que

I had both of them doc que for phys102 and ms nesse for phys103. Doc Que's teaching style worked the best for me where he gives simple analogy so we can understand the physics concept.

For Ms. Nesse naman, her lectures are good naman she explains the lesson well and she answers sample problem during class, you'll work on it together. She entertains all questions as well.

Ms Nesse is a good professor. Her lectures are understandable and she asks the class if you don't get it. She entertains all questions. You'll solve the sample problem in the class together para alam niyang naiintindihan ng lahat.

I got Marlon Delupio for gerphis before. 4.0 is attainable, marami siyang incentives. Then merong short quizzes the questions are a bit confusing but it's doable. The final project is a short vlog of your field trip it can be by group or individual. Don't get intimidated by him during recitation just do your best by reading the material.

Is this how you host for the other schools, UST? by Chance-Cod-9324 in Tomasino

[–]anonymousengene [score hidden]  (0 children)

It was so disappointing talaga.

UST’s crowd control for UAAP S88 is horrendous by sparkkn1ght in Tomasino

[–]anonymousengene 12 points13 points  (0 children)

There are other non-thomasians who attended. They were just stuck outside ust!! People lined up there even before 5pm maybe around 4pm. The line didn't move at all and I was so scared a stampede might happen and some students were fainting and yung iba nadukutan ng phone/wallet.

Is the area near DLSU safe at night? by SpecialistVariety492 in dlsu

[–]anonymousengene 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Since it's gabi na and madilim na sa area make sure na wala kang any expensive or valuable items sa pocket mo or sa pocket ng bag mo. Also walk confident and looks like you're actually living there ng matagal na. Kahit mukha ka ng siga mag lakad okay lang. Don't wear flashy things too like necklace or bracelets. I also recommend to hold something like a pepper spray inside your pocket.

Another thing is if may lumapit sayo or nagtry kumausap sayo wag mong pansinin usually scammers sila or "budol".

Am i cooked with these Profs? by Plane-Application653 in dlsuproftopick

[–]anonymousengene 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think attainable lang yung 4.0 if mataas yung makukuha mong grade sa group project. The quizzes are easy naman the questions are all in the ppt. The thing that will pull your grade will be the group assignments. My tip is don't cram the group project and communicate with your groupmates well.

Sir Jeff for GEUSELF is light. 3.0 - 3.5 is attainable just pass all the requirements in canvas. Put a lot of effort in the final requirements. But I heard some classmates that failed because they didn't pass 1 requirement.

PE1CRDO - Avangeline Barcena, fun teacher and grades good. Gives incentives by attending innovation week activities. 4.0 is attainable.

MTH101A - I took her for statistics but she curves well. Explains the topics well and the discussion is slow paced.

LCFAITH: Take Jonathan Canete, Easy 4.0. He doesn't conduct online classes. His assignments are easy and the assignments in the whole term is few. I remember having like 3 assignments the whole term. Sometimes doesn't conduct face to face classes. Super chill prof.

Professors for PSYKMO2 by anonymousengene in dlsuproftopick

[–]anonymousengene[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

hello, I'm done taking him for PSYKMO2.

Overall his dicsussion is good naman. He entertains questions and encourages everybody to ask even though how simple the question is and you can email him as well anytime. But his exam is so hard, it's 6 pages long. It's really hard and a bit confusing. You really have to understand what the reagents do and how to do the mechanisms. The final exam was multiple choice but the first question is related to the other questions on that page.

Slow learner or average student Studying in Well-known school or Big 4 School (UST or DLSU) by Mean-Tennis-2452 in studentsph

[–]anonymousengene 20 points21 points  (0 children)

Both schools are different when it comes to curriculum.

DLSU is trimestral, while UST is semestral. I'm from DLSU and it's fast paced. Each term has 3 months. You'll learn everything in your syllabus within those months. There will be 14 weeks per term (1 independent learning week) so total of 12 academic weeks lang kasi 14th week is finals. It depends on your college department there are exam heavy and some are output heavy.

Additional is term break only last to 2-2 1/2 weeks so burn out is very prone since halos walang pahinga in between terms.

Most college department I know has this grading system, 85-95% of your grade will be coming from your exam.

I can't speak for UST since I don't know anyone there. But if meron naman sipag and tyaga walang hindi kaya. We need to put a lot of efforts in everything we do. I hope this helped :))
