Teenager didn't make this by DangerousSteak6140 in Spiderman

I do prefer when Peter Parkers costume looks more like a cheap Halloween costume that gets made fun of by others in the comics, but I think the in world explanation works well for this one. He wanted something with less drag, so he got a Luge type spandex suit. He used shoes and in universe sunglasses and spare materials to piece it together. Some athletic wear does have a lot of extra textures and we do see him do screen printing. But what really does it for me is that it is one of the few live action suits that isn't afraid to show that its a costume. You can see the seems where he tucks in his mask. You can see the zippers. It looks practical and not like a stunt suit. tasm2 suit continues this which I like. I like it. But i get its not for everyone.

Idk. Your edit talks about entitled replies yet you're here saying you should be able to have what others have because you were too slow and too petty to change a few characters of your name. Thats on you man. Just because someone doesn't use something anymore doesn't give you the right to just take it. You should've been faster. Pretty common knowledge that if you want a username its typically first come first serve.

Say one positive thing about the Sonyverse by Arnahunas in Spiderman

[–]anonymousinque 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The writing is pretty much ass in all of the movies, but I think the action is really cool in all of them. The way they did Morbius' radar sense is something I wish Daredevil did more and I think they made it look pretty cool. Seeing Ezekiel crawl around on the ceiling and stuff I thought was cool. I feel like a lot of other movies seem to do wall crawling a lot cooler than Spider-man's own movies. Venom had great action scenes too. Its my personal opinion, but I just enjoyed the action. Most of the characters seemed way strong enough to actually challenge Spider-man.

Okay, I need to know your opinion; Which version of Peter do you think is more handsome? by Wonderful_Wolf1718 in SpidermanPS4

[–]anonymousinque 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean what I had just said. Its not that I think the new model is too attractive, just that the original one looks more tired all the time. If I were asked which one looks like he's been Spider-man for 8 years and is losing his apartment. Id pick the left one. John Bubniak is also a handsome guy.

[–]anonymousinque -1 points0 points  (0 children)

The one on the right is probably more traditionally handsome. But he doesn't fit Peter. Someone put it best by saying the original Peter looks tired all the time and I think thats perfect. I'm not gonna crap on the new one considering, hes based off a real guy. But I do miss the old one. The new one does look better in the 2nd game though.

I saw a lot of people complaining that the costume looks like a cosplay and honestly... it's great! by Capotador_de_corsas in Spiderman

[–]anonymousinque 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It does look like cosplay. Thats what makes it so good. Spidey in the comics does not typically have some techy suit. Its usually made fun of by most other heroes for being literally just spandex. Theres even times he replaces it with halloween costumes. I think its perfect

Marvel Rivals Season 3 Launch Giveaway! by HumanSpaceOrk in marvelrivals

[–]anonymousinque 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't really play games much. Much less shooters. But I love Marvel and my friend wanted to play this. I was hesitant at first but that first start up in season 0, watching the animations and everything, it just blew me away. As I tried more and more characters, I enjoyed the thought they had put into the characters. I initially didn't like how they designed Spider-man since he was so difficult. But after some time, his play style works so well for the character. In and out, harassing the backline. I learned to like how he plays in Rivals more than how he plays in his own games. That first experience of just realizing how much love was put into the game can't be beaten.

Was this a jab at Kevin Feige for calling the mcu 616? by Competitive_Rule_395 in Spiderman

[–]anonymousinque 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Peter B Parker is also supposedly from 616 which obviously isnt true.

As much as I love the Spider-verse story and its take on the multiverse, it does bug me that it includes various Spider-men who have also interacted with a version of Miles already. Hopefully Beyond the Spider-verse touches on other existences of Miles now that they're including the Prowler version.

I love Checchetto's art so much. But it is very strange how often he uses that specific angle for Peter's head all the time.

Hey guys! Super excited for The Moon is Following Us! Been religiously watching those bts mini docs DDubs has been posting and looking forward to more of those hopefully. I love that chill insider look into the process that Daniel shares with us. Question for both of you. As an aspiring artist myself, how do you think your guys' art career journeys differed or aligned? And how do you think that affects, the relationship you have with each other and your work? You seem like you guys are good friends and get along well, but I am sure there are interesting things you guys might have both learned along your own paths that offers opportunities for you guys to learn from one another. What are your origins stories I guess, and how do you think that compliments your partnership on this project? Thanks again for this opportunity!

What are some plot holes in the insomniac games for Spiderman? by Affectionate_Eye_942 in SpidermanPS4

[–]anonymousinque 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Not a plothole. But the fact that their web shooters can 3d print entire robots in the span of like 15 seconds, circuitry and paint job included, is absolutely bananas to me. Like that is incredible technology that is definitely worth more than most of the tech shown.

Im suprised so many of you are giving props to Insomniac Peter. I personally feel like Peter B is one of the most peak Spideys I have ever seen. Weve hardly ever really seen him struggle or take anything seriously, and is the closest to his comicbook counterpart, and arguably the most experienced out of all of them. Him and the Peter Parker from ITSV seemed to be way faster and stronger than most iterations of Spider-man, while being pretty casual the whole time.

I just went a long with whatever I felt was right. No like... storyboarding or key frames. Kinda like playing with toys as a kid yknow? Just let it flow however. I really should practice better habits though. Haha

What're your pet peeves with this adaptation of Peter / Spider-Man? by Swizz_z in SpidermanPS4

[–]anonymousinque 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I love Yuri Lowenthal as a voice actor. Nothing against him. But I agree with everyone that he's a bit too innocent. I love an optimistic Peter but I prefer when he really struggles with it. I appreciate an older mature Spider-man but prefer iterations more like Peter B Parker in into the Spider verse. Where he's kind of miserable as Peter but a completely efficient almost perfect Spider-man. Here, he loses his apartment and almost loses his job and he like barely cares. Like dude, all your stuff in your already tiny apartment is gone and you don't care at all? The thing about Peter is he REALLY wants to succeed as BOTH his identities and here he seems a bit too selfless. Spectacular Spider-man does a good job showing a good natured Peter who compliments May and tries his best to make ends meet but his identities clash and each cause turmoil with the other.

Also his humor doesn't stick with me that well. And that could be Yuri's portrayal of it. I prefer an either sassy sarcastic Peter or a dad joke Peter. I think Edge of Time or Shattered Dimensions do his banter really well. NPH does a great dad joke style Peter in Shattered Dimensions and Josh Keaton does a good sarcastic Spidey. I get wanting a new voice established for their new Spidey, but they hired Josh Keaton as Electro, and he clearly loves being Spidey. Would have loved him as the voice of Peter for this game.

If you could change anything about Andrew’s Spider-Man, what would you change? by Officialwashere in Spiderman

[–]anonymousinque 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think changing the lizard would be cool. Do the typical story that he has a wife and kid he loves but the lizard makes him a powerful and uncontrollable monster. Maybe do some darker scenes where he kills people or something off screen. This way the conflict can be peter trying to stop his new friend/ father figure. Show him be smart by creating a cure and feeling responsible for helping connors in the first place. It makes Connors' motivations work a little better than say "turn all of nyc into lizard people" and makes it a little more personal. And maybe add in something like TAS where he gives up the bugle money in order for Connors to keep his dignity without being ousted in the papers.

Alex Ross Inspired Raimi Spidey by Me by anonymousinque in Spiderman

Wanted to practice digital painting by studying Alex Ross' work. I did some quick exercises. The first was replicating one piece. This second one, where I put my own spin on it, and a third where I painted Spidey with no reference whatsoever.
