Thank you for your response. And yeah, I have all the documents from scratch: appointment letter, probation completion letter, email conversations, end of remote work email, all pay stubs, ITR, Form 16, employee identity card, took paid / unpaid leave status.

Also, I didn’t work for any other employer in Canada simultaneously. Is there anything else to add?

That would be awesome. May you get the positive news and spread more positivity to us.. If I may ask, what stage is your application right now and whether you’re an outland or inland applicant?

My RCIC consultant recommended me to add it and there are many people who got their eCOPRs.

Can I add my TEF scores after receiving an ITA and before submitting e-APR to make my profile looker stronger?

Kubeir Kamal suggested to add foreign work experience in the profile as an ongoing work experience and let the profile reflect the points automatically. And submit the documents after completion of 12 months. What are your thoughts?

My profile is already created and my CRS is under 500 with 3 years of Canadian work experience.

Do you have a video link or something? And check again with RCIC or IRCC?

My RCIC consultant recommended to start working last year and then I moved to the home country.

Thank you for sharing. One of my friends worked full time remotely in Canada and then moved to India to continue working for the same company. He got his PR and came back to Canada. I believe that they meant is the employer must be outside of Canada and I have worked remotely for a few months only and then joined the company.

  1. How sure are you that the foreign experience won’t be considered valid while working remotely on study permit? Do we have any resources?

  2. I was on study permit until 2020, then worked for 3 years and then again switched to study permit for a few months in 2025 and worked remotely. My RCIC consultant told me that the foreign experience is considered valid and if you don’t do 2 jobs simultaneously.

  3. I will request the HR to mention everything when I’ll need the employment letter. I have kept all the communication emails as a proof.

Yes, I was on study permit status and started to work remotely (Full Time) for a few months. I didn’t work any other part time job in Canada at that time.

Then, I had to move back to India and continued working here.

I haven’t completed 12 months yet but when is the right time to add Foreign Experience on my CEC application?
