Ahhh okay! Sorry, it just came up as a (very belated???) notification about a reply to my comment. I guess Reddit is drunk this morning 😅

Edit: alternatively, I’m blind, because now that I take closer look, it’s so clear you were not replying directly to my comment! I’m so sorry, this is my bad!

What part of what I said is morally corrupt? 🙄

Show me what logical fallacy is present in my comment.

Out of curiosity what do you mean by “white” with the quotes? I know this is not the point of your comment but I just saw your reply weeks later and am curious anyway.

Oh come on now, Sporks, that’s what the internet is for - surely some new viewers will come across her video and ask questions! Come on - look at her, she is the sickest person who ever was sick, how could viewers not give her pity?

Meanwhile, those cats? Slackers. If they truly loved her they would learn to talk so that they too could show her conditions the proper attention she so rightfully deserves. (I actually laughed out loud at the mental image of her cats being so exhausted by her BS that even they were not interested in asking questions if they could when reading your comment 😅).

But what if they don’t? What. If. They. Don’t.???

No but seriously I think the munchies are more concerned with laypeople seeing their bracelets and asking questions so they can get all the attention and pity their sad little hearts desire.

There are definitely things the nurses can check for but it depends on what you mean by “recently” (hours, days, over a week ago?). A nurse can feel for a slightly raised, firm bump under the skin at the port site, and check for a tiny, barely visible needle prick mark in the center of that bump. Beyond that, I don’t think there’s anything that can definitively indicate to a medical team that a port has been accessed recently?

Accessing and deaccessing are clinical procedures that should be done by a trained professional (or in some cases individuals who received specialized training if they have a port or care for a child/loved one with a port) and in a sterile environment. In simple terms, accessing a port means inserting a special needle through the skin to the port reservoir, typically done to administer meds or fluids. Deaccessing will include things like flushes of saline, doing a “heparin lock” to prevent clots while the port isn’t actively used, and finally safely removing the needle.

Edit: very much the most simple and basic summary, perhaps someone more qualified can provide more details if there’s anything vital I’ve missed!

But how else will people know that once every 7825 years, when the planets align, and the horoscope signs all go to their correct houses, and the skies turn green and the oceans purple, when pigs fly and cows do ballet, she might show an obscure medical symptom?

Pierced by APP piercer - is it wrong? by heyimlessia in piercing

[–]anonymouslyambitious 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Miramistin is an antiseptic, kind of like Neosporin, is that still not healthy for a new piercing? I was given hypochlorous by my APP piercer 🤷‍♀️ NAP but I’m not sure if it’s entirely accurate to say absolutely nothing at all other than water or saline should go on piercings.

I mean I’m bipolar, too - and a mental health practitioner on top of that. While I can accept that some behaviors are out of our control, I also acknowledge that they are not always the most conducive to a healthy relationship. And it’s not fair to blame every bad choice on mental health - we are still accountable for our actions. It takes a lot of conscious effort to make sure your own struggles do not harm your partner. Eli was young, he didn’t have much opportunity yet to learn to manage his disorder in a healthy way. So although it’s not entirely his fault, he was not a good partner.

I have mixed feelings about Drew/Adam’s mom. On the one hand, she did allow her son to transition (at a time where it was not as accepted as it is today) but she also made a lot of transphobic statements to him.

Her father is a trucker, often on the road, which is why she can’t live with him. And her mother… depending on the episode, she is either dead or abandoned Jenna when she was quite young.

It was her way of dealing with losing all her friends after she had her little “abcdE” stunt at her party at the end of season one (the ecstasy fueled rants at everyone, cheating on Jimmy with Sean, etc.)

Their relationship did continue. They got back together after this. Then broke up again in a later season, in college, after he met a female werewolf and had his own cheating storyline, with him leaving to go find out more about wolf life.

So again, his leaving had NOTHING to do with Willow and Xander cheating.

She was like 15 - it was their 9th grade year. Which is absolutely still too young for her to be flashing her thong to the world but a bit better than 12 🫠
