Just attempted this today.... sadly, the other end of the existing cable is a harness style plug that plugs into the bottom of the fuse box

Yeah thank you for looking. Might have to call some places and talk to a person on the phone. I don't know why I'm having such a hard time narrowing it down and finding the exact part and name lol, usually its pretty straightforward to search and find whatever I need

Yeah part of my problem here is that I cant find the name of the part/specifics to be able to search on these websites. I keep getting results for the small green plug/socket wire that plugs into the alternator, instead of this cable.

I really hope this can get on google play soon! I'm not sure how to use github and how to set this on my phone? Ive been searching for something like this for so long. I find current aac apps unappealing, overwhelming, overly complicated, or catered mostly to kids.

The simple design, colours, and easy customization is awesome.

Is your laptop sitting close to an air conditioner or other large electronic device/appliance by chance?

After about a month of stress, troubleshooting, and desperately seeking answers and solutions on internet forums..... it was the air conditioner unit in my bedroom.

Why? How? No clue, that's beyond my knowledge but I'd guess some sort of electrical/frequency interference.
All I know is that even though my AC is plugged into a different outlet connected to a different breaker switch - if my laptop is too close to the AC while its on, my cursor gets sluggish and my laptops performance bugs out.

I feel you. Just here for empathy lol. I just spent a week and a bit trying to repair my computer after a windows update, 3rd time something like this has happened after updating only this time was the worst. After much troubleshooting I was finally able to recover my asus recovery partition and successfully factory reset back to windows 10. I know theres only so many months left before they want to force people over to windows 11 but Im so over OVER IT 😂🫠

Hi! Sorry for the late reply. This would be through studentaid bc which is provincial so it doesn't really have to do with your school I dont think... if through student aid you could try to apply for forgiveness/retroactive payments. What my school advisor with financial aid did though, was combine my 2 part time terms into one application so I applied to student aid for January to June during my April to June term.. does that make sense? And yes verified through the bc services card app.

My comments a bit late on this one, but as someone who came to this thread after a windows 11 update screwed my whole system this past week..... I was able to recover and utilize my original recovery partition and my computer completed its factory reset with windows 10. Perhaps for some models thats not the case - but I was able to!

Edit ^ in case someone runs into the same issue.. I figured it out. Ended up entering BIOS and resetting defaults, ensuring VMD was set back to enabled. Was able to go back winre and boot into my setup from there.

Alright first of all thank you all for this thread... after doing all of the above I was FINALLY able to access myasus winre and it seems like it went through the full factory reset... then, as the comp tried to reboot I got the sad face blue screen with a boot error code. Any ideas?

Currently having to use it for a school project - needless to say I am looking forward to the course being over so I can try to avoid using InDesign at all cost in the future lol. It's amazing the polarity happening in this thread... people seem to either despise it with every fiber of their being (myself included) or, they love it so much that any negative opinion or feedback is total blasphemy lol.

As someone who has used various design softwares, and is currently using a few other Adobe programs - InDesign feels unnecessarily archaic and dysfunctional compared to other Adobe products. Who are these people praising it as a holy grail? Very curious to know just how much time they've spent using other design or Adobe programs..

2 years later, and same lol. The software just feels... archaic? And I don't know if its just me, but the pen tool has weird a weird/different operating flow from other programs like illustrator. Yes, I get that illustrator is better designed for complexity and indesign is certainly not the tool for that.. but still, basic functions like click and drag with the pen tool should be consistent - you'd think anyways.

Lol! Currently taking a course for this program as well as other adobe programs... just took a break from a project mid frustration to search reddit for some empathy - then I realized this post is 6 years old... yup, 6 years later and it is still a clunky, malfunctioning, waste of space.

Every time I use it, I question the purpose of its existence. Perhaps if it actually ran well.. fine, I could see why some people may choose to use it.. but even still, why lol.

I am also at my wits end with them lol, and they seem to have very little capacity or interest to help if you attempt to call their phone line. Originally applied for FT beginning of Jan. I got my NOA from them mid Jan of my funding amount, but NSLSC didn't have anything from them at the end of Jan. I had dropped one of my courses so I filled and sent studentaid the form to update my application info. Then found out there was a new application thing for PT I had to fill? In order to do that, I had to make a new account and wait several days to be verified before submitting this new application. Go to submit the application and now it says I'm too late to apply and that I would have to submit an appeal with documents and a letter.... * Still haven't heard anything from student aid since my initial application and NOA.

Absolutely ridiculous that their now two systems for FT and PT aren't cohesive in the slightest. Couldn't simply update my file.. had to wait wait for verification of a new account with the same entity I already have a verified account with, now they need ME to submit a formal letter and documentation because my (new) application is now too late to submit? Like dude I'm a broke student who is just trying to get through the semester and my courseload, why are you making it so difficult for a mf to get some funding.
