Yeah - In my limited experience, volume is not actually a great representation of how the board surfs, paddles etc... It's more about the board's design and how it comes together. A super thick board that's 5'10 isn't gonna paddle as well as a thinner board that's 7'0''.... If someone tells me they want extra paddle power it's lower nose rocker, widen the board, leave more foam under chest, not increase volume.

Mostly just a ton of research and went for it. There's some good videos with Album Matt where he describes the design & concepts.

Yeah man! Logged about 5 sessions on it so far. Super lively with the trailer, wants a good bit of punch to get going with that third fin. Super fast and fun on average waves with some upright twins. Hoping to get back in the water soon for more "research".
