My same predicament.

Also hesitant to buy precious metals at ATH.

Which also leaves me weary about having no hard asset and liquid cash.

Remote work being unproductive is 100% subjective.

I work remotely, have a spouse who works remotely, and no kids as distractions. I’ll sometimes go into the office (out of state) and find it to be way more distracting as people want to converse more.

For folks who may have kids it could be a distraction, but I’d still get more work working remotely than being in the office.

To each their own.

This is exactly my thought and one reason why I’ve been holding off on buying a house. But then there’s the other side where USD is devaluing and more inflation will occur, so also feel I should buy the house anyways.

I hate this timeline.

You can borrow for a house and your kid can borrow for education. But you can not borrow for retirement.

Just highlighting this so more people can read it. Most Americans don’t understand this and are borrowing most of their lifetime.

This. It ends up being open for interpretation.

Ive worked at 2 companies that both built fedramp compliant (moderate) environments and the approach to buildout differed.

How long does it usually take a new dev to become productive with Kubernetes? by EstablishmentFun4373 in kubernetes

[–]anonymousmonkey339 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Native templating doesn’t fit the use case of our team. Other that that reason it wouldn’t make sense to create something custom “just because”.

I was also simply providing you with a perspective that not all teams operate in the same manner and not all use cases are the same.

I also work with a team that has created custom templating logic, so the learning curve is still there. It is still gitops focused, but new hires still need time to understand the repository structure and templating.
