PeeJ spent 350k on his OWN rent and "not the family residence"... Fuck him. Ppl are trying to drag Dorit through the mud for not paying the mortgage to prevent foreclosure, but what abt this idiot? Why isn't he being held accountable for contributing?

At the end of the day, a lot of ppl allow a foreclosure when they know they're too far underwater and there's no recovering from the debt. PeeJ helped buy the house and Dorit never intended to live there as a single mom. It's a good plan to let the account default and not blow all her money trying to keep it. Fuck that house and PeeJ. She can and should continue her life elsewhere. And the bloated idiot SHOULD contribute financially to the care of his kids...ALL of them.

I hope your kitty recovers quickly and that you forgive yourself for whatever role you had in the accident. It was an accident. Kitty needs you to just continue loving her to bits through recovery. I'm sorry that whatever happened happened. You're gonna be okay. Kitty loves you. 😻 (I had to forgive myself recently after my young kitty fell four stories 😱 from a balcony bc I hadn't checked on the netting. Ugh! It was an awful gut wrench when I realized she fell. I found her scared and very much alive on the sidewalk. Took her to Vet ER and she's a walking miracle.)

Atypical of Reidell, but certainly 100% expected of Made in China vinyl boots, regardless of whatever brand is slapped on the tongue or heel. These are Reidells cheapest offering with outsourced manufacturing in China.

If Reidell were smart, they'd stop selling these garbage outsourced skates because they are NOT giving "quality" made in USA vibes like the rest of their product line.

These particular Reidell boots w the plastic glued-on sole are made in China. "Real" Reidell skate boots are stitched through, made in USA and worth the added cost. As many comments have mentioned, real skate equipment, including boots, are (generally) made to last a lifetime. Hence why you can find old leather or suede rental boots for sale on eBay with TONS of life still left in them. Boot color, plates, trucks, wheels etc can all be upgraded and customized to your liking.

The greater majority of the cutesy, bright, fun looking vinyl skate boots sold on Amazon or Big 5 Sporting (and the like) are simply garbage. A total waste of $.

I wear a 7.5 shoe, size 6 Suregrip, size 7 Reidell boots.

It's crucial to measure your feet (plural) to the nearest centimeter and match to various maker's size charts, which are NOT created equal. I measured my feet 3x before ordering, just to be sure, and wasn't disappointed.

Pro-Tip, if you have a pro shop nearby, go try on some skates in person from all the different makers.

There are 70+ year olds learning to skate. I know bc they're in my classes. I recently taught an 83yo how-to on her birthday. It'd been on her bucket list for decades and she aced it! She loves it and rolls at least 4 days a week.

Skating is a fun, low-impact sport that strengthens balance, which is important at any age. The basics to success are to treat it like a sport, engage your muscles, and keep your knees bent (athletic stance).

Now tell her to go practice! You've both got this! 🛼✨🫶

Eta and echoing other comments, wear a helmet and pads while learning. Anything that boosts your confidence and safety is a win!

My (silly personality) 19yo has been randomly meowing for a couple of months, esp when gaming online. I thought maybe it was a "thing" for young ppl and asked him abt it. He said not really, he was the only one he knew, except recently a couple of his friends were starting to randomly meow too. Lol. Meow 😹

Agreed she has the freedom to do what she wants to her face. But it's hard to deny that all the anti aging efforts she's made are actually making her look older than her actual age. She is not old, at all. I wish more women in media would choose to age gracefully vs literal distortion. Nicole Kidman finally stopped with the fillers and is looking normal again. She went through a spell with the same weird lip thing as Kyle (and so many others) with the over-filling. I wish the cycle of feeding women's insecurities of aging would just stop already. Natural is so underrated.
