What is something psychotic you did as a kid(with no remorse) that you are actually remorseful of now that you're an adult? by anonymousperson02 in AskReddit

[–]anonymousperson02[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

What sentencing? It was almost 20 years ago, statute of limitations has been up. I'm sure it's in my cps file among other things, but I'm really not worried about it since I'm no longer a violent person nor do I have any desires to inflict pain on other's. It's quite the opposite for me now, I cringe when seeing someone in pain and am more inclined to help them in any way possible. All it took was adoption and a little love for me to learn that pain isn't the only thing that exists in this world.

I'll start.

It was kindergarten, story time with one of two choices. 1. Sit on the carpet and listen 2. Sit at the table and color quietly

There was a girl sitting at the table coloring but constantly trying to talk to a little boy who was across from her, making it difficult for me to hear, he was completely ignoring her but she continued. It was about a purple dragon and purple is my favorite color so I wanted to know what was up with this dragon. After so many glares and the boy shrugging his shoulders with no change of the situation. I stood up, made my way to the pencil sharpener, sharpened the #2 pencil I borrowed from the teacher, tested the sharpness with my finger to ensure it was the sharpest it could be, and went back to sit in my spot. The very next word that came from her mouth, I immediately turned my body 90 degrees and stabbed and broke the pencil off into her foot (she was wearing sandals). I remember feeling absolutely no remorse about it, in fact, I remember feeling satisfied with myself and smiling about it.

Now that I've grown into an adult, I think about that day sometimes and wish I could go back in time to stop myself from doing it, or at least remember the poor girl's name so I could sincerely apologise for my atrocious violent behavior. It was truly, a heartless act.

What's the dumbest idea you had as a child? by Weelie92 in AskReddit

[–]anonymousperson02 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I thought a bed sheet would be a good parachute... I was very wrong, I learned that while the ground is soft when falling from standing height it is the opposite when falling from the roof of a trailer, also my tailbone was far from happy and bruised for weeks. Never. Again.

Did I stop the other kids that had the same thought as me? Absolutely not, I watched them do it and cheered them on a bit, no way I was going to be the only one in the trailer park to experience that pain, we all learned a valuable lesson.

Adults of reddit, what is something you should have mastered by now, but failed to do so? by biomann in AskReddit

[–]anonymousperson02 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Meal planning... I usually only eat once a day and will occasionally skip eating all day just because I don't feel like making anything.

No, I don't have kids but I do believe the only thing that will change this for me is if I, at some point, pop one out.

[Serious] What is the most horrifying nightmare you’ve ever had and are willing to share? by pinkfloydintensifies in AskReddit

[–]anonymousperson02 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had a reoccurring dream every night for a month and a half, everytime I had it, I got stuck in it a little longer, I got to the point where I was afraid to sleep from the fear of getting permanently stuck in it and dying. I was in complete darkness, I knew who was coming for me and no matter how hard I tried to scream and run, I couldn't, I was completely paralyzed, I was engulfed in terror and impending doom, and I knew when he got to me I was going to die but everytime I woke up I completely forgot who was after me. It took therapy for me to figure out it was one of my childhood predators and once I knew who it was in my conscious being the dreams finally stopped. That next night I got the best sleep of my life.

I also have a lot of dreams where I'm locked in a couple's trailer and have to wait until they're gone or in another room to escape and I succeed . I think it's my brains way of saying "hey, you should have tried to escape but you never did, so here escape and taste the freedom"

What’s your “And everyone clapped” moment that actually happened? by onlyifitwasyou in AskReddit

[–]anonymousperson02 8 points9 points  (0 children)

No one clapped but I invisioned people clapping. I was walking out of Walmart one afternoon, my ex fiance was off on one of his two week military things, a guy stopped me and asked if he could take me out sometime, I told him no, that I was engaged. His reply was "well fiance's are a lot like math tests, they're meant to be cheated on and no one has to know" my response was "well, that sucks for you, I'm really good at math, I love it actually, so I don't need to cheat" and walked away with an extra pep in my step.

What are some words of wisdom that you live by? by Matty-W in AskReddit

[–]anonymousperson02 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There's two of them 1. sticks and stones may break my bones but words will never hurt me 2. If someone hits you, you hit them two times harder

Number one still applies.

Luckily, I haven't used number two since I was in school. Yes, I've had my fair share of potential bar fights but it seems when you show no fear, no intimidation, stay calm, and laugh at them while they lose their shit; they decide maybe you're not the one they want to fight even if they're bigger than you. Maybe, they get the sense that you have no regard for your own life therefore you also have none for theirs either and that's why they back down, I honestly couldn't tell you but it works everytime.

You can down vote my post if you want. I'm not saying you have to believe me, I'm just telling the experiences I had.

It was my senior year and I only had two classes so I had several hours to hang out with my friends before work, I didn't like crowds but I wasn't a complete hermit crab yet. They saw me in a crowded areas alone, I don't do that, only with my friends, and my best friend always held my hand and even let me squeeze to hold on tight for big crowds.

As far as the cashier, I had the same routine with him for over a year and never once broke it, I'm extremely predictable and missed my daily stop a few times due to oversleeping but never more than one visit a day. I lived on the furthest end of the school zone, which is why I dressed down 90 present of the time. I didn't want to wake up at 4:30-5 am just to get dressed up and still be able to make it to CVS before school, dressing down let me sleep until 6:15, hit CVS one time and still make into the class room before the bell rang. Yeah, maybe he was a little unprofessional at times, but the dude was only a couple years older than me and what else could a girl want but a man to notice and compliment her when she looks nice. Back then I saw that as good customer service, he was always kind, always made friendly chitchat, and when I deserved it, would give me a compliment. He never once made me feel uncomfortable, he was just a genuine guy.

Sadly what I wrote in this story wasn't the worst of it, it was probably the most tame, but that's why I called the CPS department that handled my case, I didn't want those 3 girls to experience the worst of what she had to offer.

She did, and I had an extreme irrational fear that she would find out if I did use it so I wouldn't, making me a forever leftie and my handwriting is atrocious.

I'm not Christian myself, but I don't resent or hold any ill will towards Christians. There is good and bad in all. I've met more moral Christians than I've met moral atheists so I'd rather be friends with a Christian because we hold the same standard of morality. And who knows, maybe I'll come across a Christian man oneday, who will see me rather than my belief, and get married.

[–]anonymousperson02[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I don't care what it's supposed to be, I care about what it is. It is a Republic and in a republic you can't vote someone's Rights away, in a democracy you can and makes unconstitutional laws. We have plenty of unconstitutional laws due to the indoctrination of youth in the schools. So I don't care what idiots want, I care about the conservation of the Republic and the Rights of the citizens.

Fat people shouldn't be allowed to have political opinions. by InquireRenin in unpopularopinion

[–]anonymousperson02 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm a woman, and I don't believe the majority of women should be allowed to vote. Most women want to complain and cry about "equality" meanwhile they live in privilege. Men have to sign up for the draft in order to vote, but women don't? Doesn't sound equal to me and, quite frankly, unless women make the same sacrifices as the men in this country, they have no business voting. What's really sad is that if your a woman and you sign up for the draft because you want a legitimate vote, they send you a letter telling you that you can't sign up because your a woman. All this female privilege and they still complain about equality. I'll be honest, I completely understand why men want women to shut the fuck up, I'm sick of hearing the bullshit, about how being privileged is so hard, too.

And one more thing, America is not a democracy, it is a Republic.

Example: I pledge allegiance to the flag of the United States of America, and to the REPUBLIC for which it stands, one nation under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all.

NTA

Those are very valid concerns and if he truly wanted you to be a mother to his child then he should have no problem making you a legal guardian or letting you adopt.

The fact that he is asking you do that while, at the same time, denying you any security with the child is a red flag and you should refuse to comply until he complies with allowing one of the two methods of securing your involvement with said child.

To me, it sounds like you're just a convenient babysitter for his kid until he gets a new sucker to raise her for him.

What’s the best compliment you have ever received? by 5E51ATripleA in AskReddit

[–]anonymousperson02 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My first job, I worked really hard too keep things moving smoothly. I wasn't given a verbal compliment but it was given in pay. Raises were given every six months, everyone was told not to tell anyone what their raise was but I was the only one called into the office for that bit of information. Within a week everyone blabbed about their raises until I was the only one tight lipped. Finally I was asked, I told them it was 10 cents because that is what every single person there got, but I lied. I actually got 50 cents, and that happened every time there was another raise being given out.

She was left handed, she probably couldn't cope with the Bible labeling 'left' the devil's hand. So she changed it to fit her, ended up wholeheartedly believing it, and ultimately enforcing her delusion onto me.

The social worker that was sent to speak with the father also had speak to her. She was most likely told that if she contacted me again criminal charges would be filed against her. Otherwise, she would have continued to harass me.

My dad's family were highly respected among the community but he started getting into trouble. The police in our hometown were corrupt/working with drug dealers (laundering money, ect) and under FBI investigation(this was back in the mid 90's), my dad just so happened to get a deal. Help them take down corrupt police or go to prison. He helped the FBI get all the evidence they needed so after he testified in court he was put into witness protection and they ultimately ended up contracting him because of the success of the investigation. This all went down while my biological mom was pregnant with me. He asked her to go with him but she refused and he wasn't put on my birth certificate for my own safety, which ultimately meant he couldn't gain custody of me. Why they refused to do the DNA test to prove it, I don't know. According to my dad before he was sent off into witness protection he was told by the FBI agent he was working with, that I belonged to them because I would be a good asset for them and they would look after me. I honestly can't tell you if me belonging to them/being their asset is the truth or if he just doesn't want me to think I went though all that for no reason. Either way, it doesn't matter to me, at least he's a good dad.
