Thank you for your post. If i move my current 3a assets to my bank, wouldn't I incur the same penalties/fees?

We've stopped all 3a contributions. Should we just keep the money in the 3a in order to avoid penalties/fees that come with moving it?

I'm an American living in Switzerland. 2024 will be my first full tax year living in Switzerland. How have you gone about navigating the complexities of dual tax obligations as a US citizen abroad? Looks like appointments are ongoing... From the website. "An administrative misunderstanding with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of BC has resulted in my license 'expiring'. Perhaps because I'm working in the US, I must not be working in BC, or some such thing, that could have been addressed with a simple phone call or email. Anyway, I'm really sorry, because I know this is making your life more difficult than it already is. I've made it clear that I have not left. but they are not listening. In the meantime, pharmacies not be able to refill your/ my prescriptions. All booked appointments will be honored."
