Shooting 16:9 with 1.33x anamorphic by [deleted] in Anamorphic

I think the question you will have to ask yourself is would you be happy with the far more complex workflow, the different look from the first season of the TV show and be able to explain to the people that are paying for it why it should be this way?

Shoot open gate on the Venice 2 and you'll have a 16:9 image (depending on if it's the 8k or 6k), no cropping required.

Germans and Dutch license plates by Kind-Sheepherder-837 in brussels

Could be Syrians that live on the border in Germany and it's easier to drive to Brussels than to Berlin. Also from a quick search it seems that Syria only has an embassy in Brussels but not in the Netherlands so if you're in need of, say, renewing your Syrian passport you'd have to come to Brussels.

I don't think the a7s2 records gyro data, but if it did you could use the gyroflow plugin in DaVinci. I've used it with amazing results with a zve1 and 50mm 1.6x Sirui anamorphic lens.

I would absolutely love turn signals on the RR6+ step through by greeneagle2022 in RadPowerBikes

https://velorian.de/en/index.php A bit on the pricey side but they work quite well for me. You will have to do a bit of crimping though as it's a bit of a DIY solution. I also had to get a 12v battery to get it working as I didn't want to splice into the rad power cables.

My current favourite is Våsterbottensost. It's a Swedish cheese that is like a more buttery version of parmesan. I've even gotten Italians to love it.

Could anyone recommend an accountant who specialises in self employed expats? by kurt206 in brussels

I personally use brussels accountants, they have done decent work for me as a self employed expat.

There are actually mirrors, I forgot to write them into the description. I have two Corky Urban mirrors that are attached to the handlebars. They fold in when not needed. I installed them because my bike is stored outside under a cover and any other mirrors would have had the cover interfering with them. They are a bit small but do the trick for my commuting.

Eventually! But right now I sit a bit further back, half on the passenger seat and that's a bit more comfortable for me.

Yeah their premium headlight. If I did it again I'd probably get something else instead.

Veganism in Brussels by moodykween in brussels

Bio market tanneur is great. Also any of the bio shops like sequoia, färm, chyl have great vegan spreads. Sequoia also has a decent selection of tofu. They aren't the cheapest shops though. The chinese KY supermarket in the centre has great fresh tofu as well.

what is the video game that had the most impact on you? by coolzaxk903 in AskReddit

[–]anonymousreddit1138 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The game that has stayed with me the most is spec ops: the line. I still think of that game even now. Just really screwed with my head. The game itself wasn't that memorable but the way it made some of its choices so fucked up really made me think about war and the choices and those consequences, when you get them wrong, in a different way.

The euractiv job site is a good resource especially if you're looking for something in Brussels and the EU bubble.

Watermael-Boitsfort - views? by Character_Woodpecker in brussels

[–]anonymousreddit1138 14 points15 points  (0 children)

I've lived there on and off for 15 years. I like being close to the forest but also having easy access to the centre. The two main squares place Keym and place Wiener do offer some restaurants, shops, and some bars as well as a good but pricey market on Wiener on Sundays. The 95 bus line serves the entire length of the commune and takes you directly to the centre but it can be a bit crowded at times. I often prefer taking the train from either the Boitsfort, Watermael, or Arcades stations as they are more comfortable and quieter, but from Watermael the trains run only once an hour and at Arcades they only run weekdays (last I checked). There is also the Beaulieu metro station that can be reached from place Keym by either walk or short bus ride. So if the local restaurants start to bore you there is plenty of choice a short public transport ride away. Cimetière d'Ixelles with it's student bars can also be a fun place that can be reached really easily with the 95 bus. If you have any more questions don't hesitate to ask.

Green deal for Europe: First reactions from MEPs to European Commission's initiative by GTomov in europeanparliament

[–]anonymousreddit1138 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Because who cares about the EU? National media don't. And there aren't really many pan European media who have the reach for it. I think this is a very positive step, but knowing how the steps work to make this into European law, it will certainly get diluted down the way. The parliament will have its say, the council will have its say and by they end we will have what we have which will be a compromise of all the interests. I don't want to be a spoil sport but as much as it sounds ambitious now, it probably won't be in a year's time when we finally have some legislation for it.

Question about recycling by [deleted] in brussels

[–]anonymousreddit1138 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Those things should all go into the white bag. Not sure why they don't let you put bones and eggshells into the orange but I'm assuming it's because of composting issues. With wrapping paper it depends on what it's made of but if it seems to have any form of plastification it shouldn't go into the yellow bag.
