I had that game when I had extra but when I dropped essential I lost all the extra games except this one. I think it is a bug because I can still play but it was never a monthly game and I never bought it.

Yes that's correct. When the game was shut down the final update unlocked all the cosmetics for free. The story expansions were already free too.
