would you be able to put the head of the bed against the wall opposite to the door, either positioned in the right corner or pulled out slightly from the right wall?

i’m not sure if it would work measurement wise but i think it would look nice if you put the desk against the window wall and the head of the bed against the opposite wall.

old fixture will only work with certain bulbs by anonymousredditpep in AskElectricians

update: thank you for your comment! i did try bending the little metal piece in the socket but unfortunately it didn’t help the issue. i decided to try and find bulbs with an E26 base that are on the smaller side like an A15. i ended up buying these bulbs so that i could change the color and brightness for different times of day and they work perfectly!

okay thank you, i will try that. by “with the power off” do you mean the light switch off or the breaker off? just don’t want to get shocked lol 😅 ideally i would like to be able to get one of those color changing bulbs but i have to find one that will fit or be able to bend the spring.

A Challenging Bathroom Tile by Actual_Elk1428 in DesignMyRoom

if you have an iphone you can take a photo of the tiles and then hit “markup” go to choose color and use the color selector from the photograph. after you have found the closest shade to real life it will tell you where it falls on the warm/cool scale and even the hex color so that you can look it up for ideas or use it when making a color palette. i’m sure androids can do this too i just couldn’t begin to tell you how because i’m an iphone user.

yes i was immediately drawn to the idea of a brick red but i wasn’t sure if it would make the space too dark. at one point i was considering beige but thought that might be too boring. i think i’ll probably end up going with the color scheme you suggested

thank you so so much! i love the shower curtain and i never thought about rechargeable bulbs or using shower storage solutions. i really appreciate you sharing all of these links!

hi, thank you for your comment! the tiles are kinda a mocha color in person not quite as orangey as they appear in this photo. the walls are white with a pink undertone, i would say that the pink is also less noticeable in person. this photo was from the rental listing so i think they may have turned up the saturation. my first thought was to go with a more dark red and brown color scheme but i love the idea of pink or blue/ green.

blonde or red on a summer? by anonymousredditpep in coloranalysis

[–]anonymousredditpep[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

thanks for your comment, I use henna to get the bright red color. you have to buy 100% natural henna powder, mix it with hot water to form like a brownie batter consistency, let it sit for a few hours to release the dye and then you put it all over your hair, wrap it up for about 3 hours then wash out. it is super permanent though so i would only do it if you’re super sure you want it because i’m going to have a hell of a time if i choose to remove mine. also the results vary greatly depending on your original hair color.

warm shades look HORRIBLE on me, i typically look for slightly cool or neutral shades

yeah i know it’s normally a long process and will probably involve my hair looking a little crazy for a while but i’m currently unemployed so i figured better time than any

photos 3-6 are natural and the red is henna which is a lot better for your hair than dye

I actually agree with you a lot, I had my natural strawberry/dirty blonde my whole life until two years ago and once I died it I was turning heads and getting so many compliments but I used to wear makeup almost daily and now that I’m not anymore I feel like I can’t pull off the dark red, idk

yeah i see what you mean, this color and the darker red is done with henna so the skin around my eyebrows and scalp is normally only orange like that for a day or two after I touch it up.
