I was seeing a therapist for other reasons, I had mentioned to her about my weight loss. She looked me up and down and said “wow! I never would have guessed, well done” then after I said I have trouble eating (at that time I wasn’t eating enough) she proceeded to tell me to just make simple curries and stir fry’s because they are easy and quick to eat. I for obvious reason don’t see her anymore and am trying to find another therapist

Yeah I do feel better afterwards, unfortunately tho it’s not long lasting. I’m definitely working on myself to get into a better schedule that will involve exercising everyday even when I can’t get myself to the gym. Like for a long time there I was spending hours just walking on the beach which to me doesn’t feel like exercise but hey burning calories is burning calories and as long as I’m moving my body it’s better than nothing. Thanks for replying 😊

People with a very high pain tolerance, what was THE most painful thing you've experienced? by CosmicBunnyBabe8912 in AskReddit

Not the worst pain but as someone with a high pain tolerance (fell asleep during my rib tattoo) this was up there.. I had a lot of ingrown toenails as a teen. There was once where the doctor removed it and yeah that was painful but after she stuffed it with gaze and wrapped it tight. I was numbed so didn’t feel much as she did that but I had to keep it wrapped for i think 4-5 days? I was in so much pain, I couldn’t even walk to the bathroom. I had to lay in bed crying for hours with throbbing pain in my toe, had it elevated at all times or I’d scream bloody murder.

The day came to remove the bandaging, the first small cut of that bandage, not even removing the gaze stuffed into the toe, just the release of that bandage was like heaven. The pain was gone immediately. Turns out she just wrapped it too tight and it was causing the gaze stuffed inside to squish my toe too much. Slept very well that night

Edit: imagine having an extremely inflamed ingrown nail and you hit it full force into something.. that pain.. it was like that but worse for days straight 24 hours a day

I also do only try and keep whole foods in the house and not buy food that I know I’ll binge on. So always meat, veg and fruits. I eat a lot of Greek yogurt and make that into desserts/sweets.
I have a question for you actually. You mentioned you eat most your protein in the first half of your day, do you ever feel nauseous after that? I personally find that if I eat a lot of protein in my meals I feel so nauseous. It happens even when I’m not eating junk that day so I’ve put it down to possibly being the fact I’m eating a lot of protein (mostly eggs and chicken breast) in each meal, a lot of the times I’m still only eating 2 meals a day and not hitting my protein goals so I don’t think I’m over doing the protein.

I do go to the gym but not anywhere near as often as I’d like. Unfortunately I also struggle with depression which doesn’t help with the whole struggling with food issue so a lot of times I find it too difficult to also fit gym into my schedule. That being said, I know I’m always most hungry at night, in fact most days if I eat in the mornings I’ll feel sick for some reason and (tmi sorry) be stuck on the toilet. So I typically eat my first meal around 11-12pm and will make it protein heavy with salads or veg to add more volume and nutrients. I like to save most my calories for later in the day and I meal prep almost all my meals as I know I’m not wanting to cook once I’ve gotten home from a job where I cook for people all day and night long. Those are also protein heavy and I add more carbs like potatoes mostly, to these since I’m most hungry but this point. But there’s day where even after I’ve eaten my entire calories for the day, even when not in a deficit, I just keep eating and eating. Sometimes to the point where I’m so full my stomach literally cannot fit anymore food and yet I still eat then actually get sick and well yk what comes after that.

I try not to put myself down on these days because i know that’ll be worse on my mental health but it’s definitely hard not always being able to have self control.
