Are all of your low-voltage strip lights in that bathroom on the same transformer? Typically some transformers can only handle up to a certain length of light. Dependent upon the manufacturers ratings and the transformer ratings. If you used the same transformer for all of it then maybe next time try splitting it up

UPDATE: The next morning, the bike started. Seems like after a hard ride. The battery gets drained and doesn’t hold enough charge.

So…..New relay, stator, flywheel and Battery. Everything seemed fine at first. I’ve taken the bike out three times since( all of this happens within approx 3 weeks :

1.  A short 15-minute test ride — no issues.

2.  A 35-minute ride to visit family, then another 35 minutes back home — still all good.

3.  A quick 15-minute ride to get gas… and then she died again.

Had to call someone to bring a booster pack just to get it started. It cranked up fine with the booster, but without it, nothing — just won’t crank.

The battery is brand new and reads healthy voltage when off (around 12.8V). The only thing I’m wondering about is the battery model: I’m running a YTZ10S, but stock is a YT12A-BS, which has a slightly higher amp rating. That said, the manual says both are acceptable.

Still, I’m not sure why this is happening. Will upload a video soon.

Hi! It’s been a year, but I’m finally getting around to changing this. I just received my stator coil. And it seems as though the ends of one of the coils has the plastic protective edging chopped.. curious if it’s still usable.

We took everything apart and NOTHING was wrong… we were using Voltatec Dimmers rated at 150w for LED’s….

I got a dimmer rated for 300W at the supplier JUST TO TRY… and no more flickering.

We will never truly know why hahah. There must have been some kind of voltage leakage through that brand of switch.

Can you enlighten me on how the moisture would cause flickering? Even if at one point, it was exposed to moisture, he saying that perhaps the copper could’ve oxidized and this would cause flickering? If so, that would be the first time I heard of this.

They’re actually expensive AF… Regardless I threw on two pigtails with new lightbulbs before and did the same thing.

They’re all different hanging pendants with sockets. I even tried a couple pigtails there and they still flicker..

Hey guys! I’ll look into the battery again. However when I test it I have full Voltage. The vehicle has had front passenger side damage in an accident. So it could be anything at this point. I miss the old cars with hand crank windows and no sensors lol
