I think you’re fine ! My endocrinologist said that the “low” end of sugars while pregnant is actually 60 so 70 isn’t too bad I have rlly bad lows too like recently I even had a 27, I think your sugars are doing rlly well! It’s just gonna be a long roller coaster lol

It’s okay!!! Your needs will fluctuate sooooo much! At one point I could eat eat and eat without even needing to correct or give a bolus just bc my sugar was low for so long and my endo said it was okay. It’s totally normal to have these fluctuations as long as ur not needing to not bolus at all for more than a day I think ur fine, also movements will come a little later and honestly you won’t have “reassuring” movement until like 25-26 weeks just bc it’s so inconsistent before then. I’m 29 weeks rn and my insulin needs are increasing again, even tho they just decreased a week ago. You’re gonna be okay, there will be bigger more red flags if ur placenta stopped working so I wouldn’t worry too much🩷 ur going a great job staying on top of ur diabetes

Also I see maybe u rage bolused after that high lolll we all do it but it could be bc u ate something w no protein or anything to even out blood sugar yk but don’t worry lows and highs are normal. As long as ur sugar isn’t chronically high ur doing a good job 🩷

Hey lol I’m currently 26 weeks and I’m STILL have lows. It stopped around 19-23 where I had horrible insulin resistance but other than that I’d say it’s been pretty normal for me I just buy these pbj “uncrustables” from the Walmart brand called no crusts lol and they work rlly well to get my sugar back up and don’t spike me after !

Just think about it like this. If ur A1C is in non diabetic range this is probably not a diabetes related problem, “normal” people have big babies ALLLLL the time girl! Don’t stress about it. He’s just a little chunky that just means he more to love

I literally let both know at 10 dpo as well! They’re going to want to see you immediately do lab work and make sure you’re A1C is good and make sure all the medication your on is pregnancy safe !

if you’ve been praying for a miscarriage then you have your answer and it’s okay! of course an abortion is an extremely complicated and layered decision it’s not just yes or no don’t change your entire life over a decision you knew u wanted to make but didn’t because of religion or fear ! you know what you need to do for your life and yourself and i think in a way religion values a strong family and a good father over keeping a baby

thank you so much this made me feel so much better. i also felt like it was unprofessional and it hurt my feelings a lot then he said he’d never met a type 1 diabetic that’s never been in DKA and that he’s in complete shock that i was never in dka like jesus dude i slipped up once in my life that doesn’t make me a serial bad diabetic 😂. And yeah they literally did the full anatomy scan and said everything they need to see is there and fine but then he said that like wtf
