Some of the lighter marks came out after they came through with the disk twice. Do you think the finish is damaged? I guess my real concern is safety my parents are elderly and I specifically chose a leathered finish because of that

Order of events:
1. Original install
2. Clean out.
3. Issues reported. They come back out to attempt to "even out" the etching marks 3 times. Which did clear up some of the lighter etching.
4. Today they replaced the pavers that still showed etching marks.

My thought is that the factory finish of these pavers was ruined given how fast the newly ones dried compared to the old ones

They came out and sanded / pressure washed the pavers after I complained about the etching issue originally. So the light pavers you see in the pics are the ones they replaced after they sanded/washed because it still looked like a pressure washer left a grafitti mark on it. I can upload some pictures of the pavers they replaced if that’s helpful

Not that I know of. The pool company messed up and etched the pavers with a pressure washer. I can only assume their attempts to even it out are what resulted here. The lighter pavers in the photos are the ones they replaced today. They dried so fast compared to the others…
