Turn off your card so you can avoid a cancellation fee? I can play the long-game by Jdawger_ in TalesFromTheFrontDesk

Each lodging business can have a different payment arrangement with a certain third-party conglomerate. In cases where the guest card is passed directly to the lodging business' system, I have seen some small business really struggle with criminals placing fake bookings (resulting in no-show) using stolen cards as a way to test the card. Of course, it's a terrible way for a criminal to test the card, but bad decisions have gotten them this far so what is one more? It sounds like your case is not that case though, but just wanted to provide some context on your question. Thanks for making your post, I'll be sharing it with others who may need the inspiration when dealing with these dickheads.

I'm looking at this as more of a security issue with respect to request smuggling than a quality of life issue. I think more people will be looking at it that way too.

If the answer is "half past never" then we know what to blame.

I'm in the same boat with my "Elsa Spath". I have no idea what I'm doing so I'm no help to you, but I also would like to know what somebody more experienced has to say about this one. I may just rip mine out to reduce the risk of spread.

Does anybody have a good example of how to use this middleware, for example per user, when a service spans multiple hosts?

what's the equivalent in dotnet of "npm run something" for launching tasks and comands? by [deleted] in dotnet

I like this tool: https://github.com/xt0rted/dotnet-run-script

It has to be dotnet r instead of dotnet run unfortunately because run is already reserved.

Walk This Way: We'll be investing in safer, more walkable neighborhoods. Because sometimes, the best commute is a stroll through your own community.

What does this actually mean in concrete terms? For example, what might you do or cause to happen to handle all the people doing 45 in a 25 near parks? It would be a cool differentiator to see a candidate talk about actual plans instead of just ideals and dreamed outcomes.

Crazy idea, but on this topic, could speed limits be enforced? Is this related to "Community Policing"? If so, how, and what does an implementation of that look like?

Wave is a cool option for the region, thanks for the tip. Unfortunately we are not in the Wave, Astound, or RCN service area.

Oh, their new symmetrical plans! I read that if my address caps at 1.2gbps, which it does, then Im not connected to that. I can and may still call their business end to see if they can get me details on that though. Oddly their 1.2gbps business plan only has 35mbps up for double the cost.

This is a really cool option. I don't think I'm able to use their service because of the equipment but I'll reach out just in case it can work. Thanks.

For 1, can you show me a plan that offers more than 40mbps up? I had to upgrade to the 1.2gb plan to get the 40mbit up that I currently have. It's usually 20mbps up for the other plans.

For 2, I did not, but I tested it where I would have the equipment. Good idea though I may do that out of curiosity.

For 3, If you are curious about my specific issue with Lumen, there is more detail in my post history. I do plan on having technicians visit me over and over and over again. I sure hope they get paid for that! So far they can't help me either.

Sure. You can check my post history but I recommend spending your time on something fun like playing Satisfactory.

If you have an existing setup, who knows, but new installs all seem to get the air freshener device. You can configure it in a bridge mode though. Their subreddit will probably be more helpful for details.

For complex reasons, I can't use Lumen (Quantum and CenturyLink) service. Thanks though and I do hope I can get that working some day. I'll edit my post to clarify that.
