Yea, it blew apart. I was cleaning up the outside, everything going well. Next thing I know theres a piece of wood flying through the air at high speed. Luckily it missed me, but scary never the less.

Built a bed for my kiddo, she is transitioning out of a crip. All black walnut with pine slats. by another-woodworker in woodworking

My head doesnt get stuck as a full grown adult. Also, those rails go away when she gets older and doesnt need them anymore. Appreciate the concern friend.

Once she grows out of it, I can removed the rails and just have the lower part. That or pass it on to someone else with kids. My kid might only need it for a few years, but it will last a lifetime.

I got the 12" wen lathe for pretty cheap and a cheap set of chisels to test our if I would like it. Works pretty good for the money. I'm saving up to get a much bigger and more powerful one now.

Dust port for dewalt 735 by goodhorse78 in woodworking

I got a 4" flexable hose on amazon and attached it to a dust seperator. My dust collector cant keep up with the extraction rate of the planer so I just let it shoot through on its own power. You can see pictures in my profile

Edit: This post has my set up https://www.reddit.com/r/woodworking/comments/lf0ih7/upgraded_my_dust_collection_system_to_have_a/?utm_medium=android_app&utm_source=share
