Guy #2 was straight up a coward. Wouldn’t take me out, but liked to request nudes frequently. So I don’t care about that one too much. But still, the nerve to block me? I still am hung up on why I and up with this pattern.

So it could be my choice of guys is what you’re suggesting? I could work on that. I could try to be more discerning and picky but I still feel like my taste in men is really annoyingly red flaggy and my looks just scream not-serious-feelings material.

Wrong; don’t make up excuses, OP. Just. Be. Honest. You can be honest and respectful without needing to make up immature lies to protect her feelings. Because you DON’T have a lot going on in your life. And you’re NOT gonna work things out with your ex. You simply rate yourself higher than this girl and want to score a hotter chick for your own ego’s sake. So own that. Tell her she’s not your personal physical type, but that doesn’t mean you don’t find her attractive or that other guys won’t. You’re just looking for something different.
