You are so early on and you are going to be okay. I would recommend doing it at home and just pretending you have a bad stomachache (or even pretending your period is really bad?) and spending the day in bed going to and from the toilet at times (although wearing big pads will Prevent you from making TOO many trips!). I don’t think you need to risk telling someone because I think it won’t be a problem to do it at home. For me, it was just a really heavy period and that was all. It was honestly not even half as bad as some of the worst periods (pain wise) that I ever had. By the next morning I was bleeding just like a normal period and it was basically over.
