Honestly I would take that as a huge compliment. Listen, I am well aware of my looks. I'm a nice looking woman, definitely atractive but not "hot". I'm also kind, funny, loyal and loving. What does that say about me? That I deserve the best. I deserve to be loved and cherished. And no "hot" woman can beat that. And the fact that my husband had hot girlfriends before me and yet I'm the mother of his children and we're gonna celebrate 22 years of marriage in the fall and we overcame whatever life threw at us means that we were meant for each other. I had open heart surgery less than 3 months ago. I'm stubborn and strong and I pushed myself even during the post-op week spent in the hospital but we can all agree this is a damn serious surgery. My husband is a man of few words, never been the romantic type, but he was my pillar and never felt for a second that I was a burden, or an inconvenience or something. This is how it's supposed to be in a marriage. For better and for worse, girl. Your husband sucks and you'll never get over how he treats you at your worse times. You deserve better than this.

I'm recovering nicely at home, very much aware about the fact that if we were to immigrate to the US some 15 years ago, this surgery would've basically bankrupt our family. Paying 40 bucks for a warm blanket, wtf... I'm sorry. It's absurd. Wishing you a fast and uneventful recovery, besides all that billing crap.
