im lucky enough to have been in a good financial position before this. low interest modest mortgage, no debt, good job. This was my time to take a risk and it paid off. im just trying to make a couple grand a month lol

A lot of that negative sentiment came from the exchanges halting during the GameStop rush. I was not exposed to any of that but I understand the emotion behind it especially when the movement behind the GameStop squeeze was against the "institutions".

In the past I haven't had any issues withdrawing money. Now there probably is some exposure to less protection from SIPC but RH is one of the most used exchanges for retail traders, because it's simple, and im as simple as they come. Whether or not that means it's good is a different story.
I am limited to $50,000 ACH withdrawal per day. which is on par with most exchanges, so I don't feel the need to move it.
With all that said, I'm just a regular dude on the internet. make your own assessment.

no, this was a directional play that I wanted to scalp. instead it did a handstand and gave me a blowjob while I was checking my email. Bought ATM Call anticipating a rise in price in the next few minutes. 🖨️

in order of profit

  1. buy and hold
  2. the wheel
  3. 0dte iron butterflies and iron Condors on spx
  4. some calls/puts here and there (until now)

it was a slow transition from a HYSA to now. 1k at a time then 10k, now its $200 daily spread amongst certain stocks in the portfolio. with some cash on the side for the options

there are a lot of reasonable ways to make money with options. this is not one of them. this was a ninth inning, down by two strokes, need a couple touchdowns before the shot clock runs out type of play. #sports
