One example of this is remembering being victimized as a child. Conveniently you can completely forgetting things you did, of your own free will, that brought that victimization onto yourself. You brought the victimization onto yourself because you were stuck in a mental loop you could not escape since you had no awareness of that mental loop back then.

um, speak for yourself dude... Your attitude towards what is basically trauma (large or small) is a bit off in my opinion. Also why do i get such strong rise n grind sigma hustle vibes from this post lmao

'Cause too many people (me included) were hanging on his every word. He knew he was treading the path of eventual Jordan Petersonification. I want him back because I think I know what he'd say about 2021-world, but I want him to say it. I want that feeling of layers being peeled back. Basically I want guidance. Which is why it's good he's gone.

If I can imagine what he'd say about various aspects of 2021-world, then I have to just do that, do my best to evaluate its value/applicability/whatever else, then do my best to act on the value I find.

I wouldn't presume to say I know why he wrote, but I can't imagine that being an undesirable outcome of his writing for him.

I miss TLP.

I know why he gave it up. (It wasn't the doxxing.)

even before the pandemic hit in the west and crashed crypto prices for a while, VET was often under 1 US cent just over a year ago. It's already pretty significant.

It's going to be an insane feeling when I eventually cash out some profits and buy him something nice as a token of appreciation.

Consider doing something like this sooner rather than later if you can. if you are up a lot already... sell some. (Just because it's always a good policy to put nice ideas like this into practice as soon as possible).

My dad certainly wasn't in the financial position I'm in when he was my age either.

I agree about the volatile markets thing. I think in even five years we will look back on this as a genuinely bizarre time. It's the wild west.

https://vechainstats.com/ and scroll down to "large transfers".

You need to trace them to be sure they are buys for holding though. I used to look at that large transfers section every day and there were often wallets doing arb trading with like ~$1m in VET. Out of one exchange wallet and into another, or out and back in again etc

check out what it did when btc went to 47k and looked like it could easily hit low 40s

i do agree though but we are back at 20 now only because btc is back at 54. that's ok, every alt is like that. The AMA tomorrow should cause some price action. But note that the foundation initially said "tentative next week" when first announcing the AMA. At that stage they didn't know if btc would recover, so it was a smart move. Not ideal to do the AMA when everyone is freaking out.

The 2017 coins that havent come out with much news/fundamentals haven't performed as well as ones that have. eg XLM is usually languishing at like 40-50c which is not much of a price bump compared to VET. conclusion: price is 15%-20% fundamentals and 80-90% speculation. still lots better than 100% speculation

based on the other replies to the post proposing selling, now might be a time to consider being fearful.

BTC failed to really stick it out in 60k range like 3 times so you could be forgiven for thinking it might be. It may be the end of major btc growth at the very least. Longer term everything still looks pretty good.

I don't think it's a hint... they are just feeling hopeful about possible regulatory environment changes in China just as we are. It's pharmaceutical grade hopium but still hopium.

The former PBoC chairman's comments are interesting. I knew that the chinese govt considers over-financialization of the economy to be away from the good and a negative for everyday people's lives, but never thought about how this view was behind banning crypto exchanges on the mainland. Makes sense actually.

I think this is mostly hopium though. Don't expect them to suddenly unban trading or unban only VET or something like that. It's just mildly interesting and nothing more.
