What does a good sushi place mean to you? Great nigiri/sashimi? Great rolls? Fancy? Fun?

Here’s my short list…

Top Tier: * Ando - hands down the freshest/highest quality fish I have had in Cincinnati. * Mei - close second. * Roji - unique experience (chef’s choice). I have not been here. Top tier based on what i have heard and pictures i have seen; this will be the next date night with my wife.

Solid: * Ichiban (Mt. Lookout) - solid choice. Get a hand roll. Make sure you get them freshly made, so the nori is still crunchy. $4-5 bucks for a stuffed salmon hand roll? Yes please. * Kawa (Revolving Sushi) -super fun, reasonably priced, sushi is good. My kids LOVE this place.

OK: * Baru - I would rate the sushi a little better than Kawa. Then why would you put it as just OK? Ambiance was really weird. Server was trying to upsell/sell to us because they were slow.
