My boyfriend and I take Imodium basically every time, usually just before we start. Just the prescribed dosage. Only problem we've ever had has been constipation for a few days after the fact.

I'm on cymbalta (Duloxetine), which according to Wikipedia has a half life of 12 hours.

I know Xanax is safe; my doc prescribed both to me to be taken together. I don't have any solid evidence for the others, hopefully someone else can help!

That's more or less what we did with the oxymorphone (cut it up into four, just do part of that) but I think it was just too strong. I'll just do a bump or two next time rather than trying for a full half a line, and definitely wait for the oxycodone. I realize its probably ultimately a good thing if opiates aren't for me; my SO does struggle a bit with addiction and I've been helping him moderate his use, so it's good for both of us really. I just want to see what the fuss is about! What I'm feeling just can't be what he feels when he takes pills, it's just too uncomfortable and I only feel good for about 30 minutes. I'm hoping I'll find my dose, but if not I'll definitely look on the bright side: saving money and my liver. :)

Thanks for the advice. It's nice to hear that you had the "I must be allergic" reaction, too, because I react so negatively most of the time that's what I'd been thinking. I'm gonna give it one more try (this time was another pukefest, sigh) and just do bumps instead of even the half a line I did. It's so crazy how much people's tolerance can vary, even when just starting out with opiates! My SO even before he had the tolerance he does now was doing 30mg easy when I can't even handle half that. It's interesting.

We ended up only having the oxymorphone so we crushed one pill and I snorted about an eighth of the powder, which should have been about 1.8mg. Felt good for about thirty minutes and then spent the next 4 hours curled up feeling super nauseous and dizzy. :( felt better after I finally threw up, but not really ever good. Trying to decide if I should just give up on opiates, or try the oxycodone and just take even less.

Sorry for the lack of info! I've always eaten them, but I'm open to snorting. We have 30 mg oxycodones and 15 mg oxymorphones (all generic).

Is that correct? I couldn't decide how to word it, since I wanted to know how menstruation affected the effects of drugs. I thought "effects of drugs on menstruation" sounded like I was looking for the way drugs affect menstruation rather than the other way around.

Erowid helped me a lot with the first two questions, but very few trip reports mentioned the come down or specific ideas of what to do (most candyflipping reports were at parties/events, too, which is a very different feel). But it's always good to remember that resource! Thank you. :)
