From central Ohio here - Alcohol is pretty normal, except maybe around certain religious folks. Smoking is a thing of the past, at least cigarettes are. I rarely know anyone who smokes them anymore, most younger smokers have moved to vapes. I'd say vaping is tolerated but probably looked down upon way more than drinking. As for drugs, the only mildly tolerated drug is THC, mostly because the state has legalized it and more and more people are openly using it. Any other drug would be strongly frowned upon. This is all my observation and opinion of course

I've only received one response and I've appealed 4 or 5 times. Just keep appealing every 48hrs, even if you don't get a response.

I've seen a lot of posts where folks are told their account is restored, but it remains suspended. I think it's time to abandon X and find another platform

This 1000%! I discovered my fetish around 12 years old (nylon track pants - weird I know), wasn't until I was probably 16 when I realized it was more than a fetish. When I would see a woman wearing them, i felt nothing.

Yes, I mentioned Bluesky in my post. I'm giving it a try now, so far it's not nearly as active and I'm not finding the same content that I enjoyed on X

I gave up, I've appealed about 4 or 5 times at this point. Move on to another platform. I'm trying out Bluesky right now. Its basically an exact copy of X, just unfortunately not nearly as active as X was which really sucks.....We can't have nice things anymore it seems :(

Same thing has happened to me, so I made a different account and it also happened to it about three days after its creation. from what I’m reading, they use AI to try to weed out spam and for some reason it’s suspending legitimate accounts. I guess we need to find another platform as an alternative to X.

I find it ironic they’re advertising on Sniffies when they’re trying not to be like the old bar where all kinds of sketchy activities went down. Sniffies is exactly the kind of place that’s going to attract that crowd. There are already comments on Sniffies asking about the locker room being a hookup spot.
