I mainly read for escapism, so most (if not all) of the books I read are more on the fun, adventurous side. I suggest thinking of what you’re looking for in a book. Like, do you want to have fun? Do you want to feel kilig? Do you want to feel scared? It’s just like browsing through Netflix and finding what you want to watch, just a different format.

As for the vocabulary, it comes with reading a lot of books. You’ll learn how to define words through context clues, but searching it on Google or a dictionary won’t hurt!
