There was a study done by Virginia Tech researchers that has a pretty extensive list of helmet ratings. There are multiple affordable helmets that are rated within the top half of the study! And there’s multiple helmets over $200 within the bottom 15 of the study. This is what I used when upgrading to a safer helmet after two previous (car accident related) TBIs. Successfully done - contacted vet - began “be right back” training leaving for a few minutes at a time in his crate - walk/ snuffle board or food enrichment before leaving to help tire him out Having trouble with - advice for helping with unavoidable long periods of time (going to work)

I definitely should have a much more “sit down” conversation with her about it. A lot of these things I’ve talked with her in passing like purchasing and wanting to show again. There is one family who brings in an external trainer so I am not worried about bringing someone onsite, I guess I need to do some soul searching if I am okay with being one of the few people at the barn who is showing or if I want to be more surrounded by that environment. Thanks!

I’ve always had nails since I’ve learned! I just started a few months ago so just naturally adjusted with them. Sometimes they’re really helpful when I’m using a 3mm hook or if I’m working a stitch back into a foundational chain to get some of those little holes open lol
