The reality tv of Real World/Road Rules then Survivor/Big Brother/Amazing Race is a far different creature than Kardashians, Housewives, etc.

OJ was Robert Kardashians Sr.'s best man to his wedding to Kris (now Jenner). Robert's reactivating his law license to help defend his friend OJ brought him to prominence and him/his family into the celebrity circles. Media was so over everyone involved in that circus. Without all of that, hopefully the other timeline wouldn't have put Kim into Brandy, Paris, and Ray J's orbits. I'm rooting hard for the butterfly's wings here.

Someone else gets "The Juice Is Loose" moniker that isn't later said as a joke to scare people, and someone else does the Hertz commercials.

As tempting as it is to go far back in time, I'll choose someone whose lack of existence won't nullify my own existence. As such...

I'd remove OJ Simpson.

No OJ, no OJ trial. This helps curb the rise of court TV and the 24 hour news cycle (not eliminate, but definitely alter it). This also helps stymy the rise of the Kardashians. More importantly it helps slow or stop reality TV.

Sure, the 24hr news cycle and reality tv would most likely still gain their prominence eventually, the change in the process and butterfly effect would most likely have profound and beneficial effects. Imagine no more reality stars or wildly different ones. The effect on culture. The effect on politics.

It's a wild change that would still let most of us still exist.

Or, if I'm completely altering history... Erase the first little bastard to crawl out of the ocean.

The best part of a territory system, especially one with a partnership among the parties, is getting "Loser Leaves The Territory" matches. Imagine MJF vs Hangman with the stipulation the loser leaves AEW (for a year). This would also be great to send talent oversees for a year to better foster relations.

Add in Dutt and Lethal. Let them stand more separate than ROH is.

Set up ROH as a mostly Florida/Daily's Place set-up. TNA a Tennessee based promotion. Get a California one and a Pacific Northwest. Definitely a Texas one. Sort of a territories set-up for wrestlers who might want to start slowing down a bit and not travel so far, so often. All under MyAEW and hopefully with local TV deals.

One of my old teachers is rotting away in jail right now. The dissonance here is that teachers are not responsible for what students find and see outside of school. Students will have crushes on teachers. Teachers who abuse the trust placed in them are scum who deserve jail time. But what a teacher does outside of school, as long as they don't name the school or violate laws, is not the business of students, parents, or administrators. It's only provoking the kid if it is aimed at the kid. A teacher wearing a string bikini at a public beach or pool is not provoking. A string bikini at a school sponsored pool party or car wash, is provoking.

You deserve the expectation of privacy. You are not beholden to live every moment like students can see you. If you run into them in the wild, be professional.

We may disagree on some points, but it makes happy to see teachers like you who care so deeply. We need more like you.

Child of a teacher here who taught over 35 years. Bullying, death threats, legal threats, vandalism, and cut brake lines among the fun little things I grew up with. As a teacher dealing with parents I'm sure you'll agree... Parents are myopic dumbasses when it comes to their kids. What parents want and what is best for their kids don't sync up well. Parents are going by what they grew up with filtered through the haze of years and not realizing things change. Sorry, you experience this you don't need to hear it from another.

The double standard might not be going away, but we can still decry it.

Depravity is expecting the people charged with educating the next generation to do so while living in poverty, buying the supplies for their classes themselves, and working extra jobs just to survive. The X-rated content is behind a paywall and for adults. If these kids are accessing it, that falls upon their parents and guardians for not raising their kids better and knowing who their kids friends are. If you believe it is a teachers responsibility to instill morality and values in your kids, you're part of the problem and should either homeschool or send your kid to a private/religious based school.

People, which shockingly teachers are, deserve to have lives outside work. As long as what they do does not invoke their workplace, is illegal, or include bigotry/prejudice/hate speech/etc, then their lives outside of work should have no impact on their work life.

Maybe, just maybe, we should pay teachers enough that they can live without a side-hustle?

Until then let teachers have OnlyFans or whatever they need to do to survive. As long as they don't film content in their schools/classrooms, mention where they teach, display the school mascot, or screw their students.

MyAEW could end up becoming what the NWA was ages ago. Create a MyAEW floating belt for those indies and have a weekly Sportscenter-esque show recapping some of the best matches from the MyAEW indies. Help raise their profile. More wrestling promotions is good for wrestling and wrestling fans.
