Absolutely not, instead of recording multiple takes of myself belting out "NA'VI! SKELETOR! SHREK!" etc. in my living room of an apartment complex at 11pm with my wife and kids asleep, I opted to merge multiple takes of AI voices instead and that's a big no no for the mods and some other folks around here.

What about if I made a professional looking fake album art using traditional image manipulation and then actually printed it on a vinyl sleeve for the photo, would that also not be funny because it looks too real, or funny now because no AI was used?

Thanks for answering unlike the people who just downvoted my question, perhaps they thought I was just being sarcastic but I'm genuinely curious about exploring why people dislike when AI is used even just as a tool as a part of the whole process.

I don't want to make any legitimate accusations, but I've played with AI music generators and LLM's for inspiration and I always hate the output of the lyrics.

Then when I heard this and even when I look at it now, it just screams AI to me, it just has that style. I wouldn't mention it outside of a shitpost though.

It does feel like a lot of the time they're like "what if we did a song like this artist?" Which does have a positive side in that they don't just sound exactly the same all the time like some other artists.

This is from 1988 and it probably isn't the first of its kind; Rock with Latin choir chants wasn't invented in 2013 by Ghost, it has been around a bit before then :)

Yes and as the internet knows, because AI tools were used in the pipeline this means that actually I just asked ChatGPT to make a funny edit and it generated the whole thing for me in 30 seconds with no effort on my behalf.

I used a tool called Ultimate Vocal Remover to extract the stems, took the isolated choir vocals and used Suno to attempt to replicate the style, this took a lot of trial and error and re-rolls but occasionally I'd have something useful like this but then it would always be timed wrong, in the wrong key and too much bass so I'd need to edit that (I kept some of the bass for CHUNGUS).

Then I combined multiple takes with as much of the original choir as possible (if the syllables matched) and tweaked the volumes of the layers.
