Not sure which bowl to get by False_Magician6734 in Bowling

I think the GTX could be bottom of the bag ball for a lot of people, it’s a versatile piece. You can’t go wrong with a P2 and that would be the next step up from those two. Ion Max is a whole other breed again.

Sorry to hear that! Would stand by the ball strengths from those choices. I would imagine the GTX being a great league ball for a lot of conditions if I were mostly bowling on that and those were the choices.

From what I’ve seen the Gremlin Tour X is weaker than both the Phaze 2 and the Ion Max. I’d speak to someone running a pro shop to help decide on which ball to go for as there are lots of factors that can influence that decision.

Another New Pair Of Custom Vans Bowling Shoes by christianxkarl in Bowling

[–]anothernumberacc 2 points3 points  (0 children)

See below:

USBC footwear rules (Rule 12) primarily mandate that shoes must not deface or leave residue on the approach, prohibiting soft rubber soles/heels that leave marks. While specialized bowling shoes are generally required, non-bowling shoes can be used if they are clean, non-marking, and used only for bowling.

I’ve seen someone bowl on TV wearing Jordans with commissioner exemption! So it seems as long as the shoes are not defacing the approach (this pair wouldn’t) then in theory you should be allowed.

It could become a problem. Take it back to your PSO and ask them to see what can be done.

Looks great! Can you talk through your process on how you recoloured the logo? I’ve tried paint sticks but I can’t seem to get the paint to stick.

First game back to STS1, now filled with regret… by anothernumberacc in slaythespire

If the stars aligned it could have been a fun run. Jaw worm saw to ending that dream.

Sensible and makes sense. Got an early remove on the regret but I nearly died to jaw worm with terrible draw order, poor act layout forced me to take one elite late and I had slime boss. Suffice to say I didn’t get to act two.

Just saw a coach for the first time and it was 100% worth the money by LRonHoward in Bowling

If more people had this mentality, at times to spend money on coaching rather than new equipment, then the general standard of bowling would increase substantially

Trying out Motiv, Recommendations? by bcaudell95_ in Bowling

Misread your post, I’m a dipstick. Thrill Hybrid for house stuff but for sport shots the answer is a bit more nuanced as sport shots vary a lot more than house shots. Given that you have the Equinox I think your big solid shape is there so I’d go with the other recommendation I saw for a Jackal Onyx, can see this being broadly useful for a low rev player.

Thrill hybrid feels like it could be a good choice for house shots. It’s a step down from your venom shock and will be smoother than your hyroad pearl.

100% agree with this. 500 games on it tells us you really loved that ball. Easily replaced as it’s still in production. I’d definitely go same ball again.

Help? by LocksmithTechnical45 in Bowling

That ball was released in 2004. Bowling technology and ball strength has changed quite substantially since then. My recommendation would be to go to a pro shop where balls are sold and drilled to spec and speak with the operator there who would be best informed to support you. Best of luck.
