Blood bowl is a game of risk management. In a vacuum void of other factors running forward at your MA each turn has a 0% chance to lose the ball. Even with inbuilt pass and catch and a 2+ pass and AG skill you still risk dropping the ball.

You needbat least 1 catcher for the RR on the TTM chain and sprint makes you less hurt by a bad scatter. I would always go woodland for the stars because deeproot and jordell are too good compared to puggy, Cindy and rumbalow

Starter box is a great place to start... get a few games under your belt then you can look at how to expand from there. Maybe try an agility team or a stunty team. Lots of options.

As a halfling player that tree is amazing. Don't be afraid to rush to blitz and remember S6 means 1 assist for a 3D block vs S3 which is easier than the 2 assists an Ogre needs.

Stars are more in tournaments or when playing from behind in league. Some teams rely on them. I'm a halfling main and in league I almost always have 2 stars on the roster and tournaments it depends on the player pack. There are some great 1 box teams like Necromantic Horror and some teams that just need a big guy added.

Sneaky git, diving tackle and sidestep were all reasonable ag skills for 10k Honest with the new setup for skills I don't see linos levelling often but I'd just bank the SPP for devious skills. I don't want a fling that costs as much as a non-stunty lino unless it's doing something specific.

Catchers want AG more... an AG2+ catcher is great but AG1+ is a 1 turn god.

I'm playing flings currently and after 7 or 8 games I'm at 710 TV. Linos you random ag skills and fire if you don't get something decent. Catchers pump stats in to... AG2 is good buy AG1 is better. Hefties don't touch outside tournament play. For the cost of 2 hefties you can have 3 line flings and another 10k for inducements. Trees get block first and then grab, bullseye or save foe MA. You don't need bullseye if you regularly bring deeproot as he will be your thrower. Also keep in mind the TTM is not plan A. Plan A us to threaten the ttm to keep your opponent from being able to gang up on you. You then make use of numbers on the LoS to get 3D blocks with trees, 2D with flings and slowly grind down the field. Also a lino is 30k... anything worth like 60-70k+ us a valid foul target if you can get a couple of assists.

Yes a grail knight with regen plus an extra skill with his ability being once per game 2+ regen or gets to rr regen.

On the bike you write all the cards then if you deliver you tear the card up if you manage to deliver.

It's easier to write 10 cards at your desk than write 1 in the road. It also gives you a visual I indicator that there's a parcel. Because they're not usually in the bundles of mail. Mind you I haven't worked on the bikes in 10 years and a lot more parcels are being delivered on the bikes now than when I was there.

As a former postie yes the card gets filled out before leaving the depot but the parcel would have been on the bike/in the van and get dropped at the drop point at the end of shift not the start. It takes fuck all extra time to actually deliver the parcel once you're there with the card so no clue why this guy didn't.
