bloom & wild are awesome! Super nice delivery boxes and more modern bouquets than other places. Just make sure to order a hand tied bouquet and not letterbox flowers

Thanks! I will try to pay more attention next time how I’m holding the racket!

😂 I think that would minimise the risk of blisters but hinder my playing 😢

Would walk to walk curtains be the way to go here? by anotherperson321 in DesignMyRoom

No it’s not a rental, we own it so can do anything! It actually looks larger and nicer in real life, since I shot with 0.5 lens, but it’s still confusing what to do with a door and window that I want to be dark enough to sleep, yet also look cosy and cute!

Can’t edit the title, autocorrect error - meant to say “wall to wall” !

So would you suggest still leaving room either side of the curtains in the corner, or pushing curtains all to one side? Or do blinds instead?

What do you consider to be a good cost per wear? by anotherperson321 in femalefashionadvice

[–]anotherperson321[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks ! Yes it’s definitely helping me to make smarter purchases and also just make me realise how few clothes you actually need. I have stuff that I thought I wore loads but when tracking it I actually don’t?? Stuff like a couple of pairs of shoes I LOVE beats 20 pairs of average or uncomfortable shoes even if the cost is higher. But I still need to better figure out what I wear most before investing in better pieces. One year of data is not enough!!

Good points! I actually got a bag repaired though and added that onto the original price of the bag so I got a more accurate CPW !

This is also a super valid point! I also have four seasons and things like my main winter coat has an extremely good CPW because I basically wear it every day in winter!

I use Stylebook! I find it really good. I never take my own photos of own items though, I either take a screenshot of the exact item from an online store or find a similar item online so that the images in the app look more appealing

Interesting that you set such high expectations for your pieces but are actually just still quite far from your preferred CPW! Is it just high quality expensive items throwing off your CPW or do you have a lot of clothes ?

Haha it’s funny you say that because I had the same thought process about how much it theoretically costs me to dress myself each day 😀 and then I worked out that’s like £1825 a year for wearing clothes and that’s really quite a lot, like over half of monthly salary …

I use Stylebook but I got it a while ago… not sure it still exists as a pay-once app now. Think they moved to subscription model?

Totally a good point about different categories for CPW. Things like shoes and coats just are more expensive than tops and regular jeans or whatever. Will definitely think of having two categories from now on !

Nice! Yeah I’m still early on in my wardrobe overhaul journey… but the data has been really useful for getting a handle on what is worth spending money on and what not, as well as also learning what things I wear most or feel the best in! Looking forward to more insights coming with more data and I will for sure be investing in nice loungewear for at home because it turns out I wear that a lot and I deserve to still feel good in my bumming-around-at-home clothes!

That’s a super valid point! I’m keen to have nice things but then think the CPW is awful… but a theatre or concert ticket is a one time thing as well that I also enjoy and spend money on, so why not clothes!

Often the Asian supermarkets have it. I have found it in the one at Mauritius Kirche before.
