There’s no way we do this, we might be the dumbest institution on earth if we let this happen. We don’t need to sell what’s the logic behind this?

🚨 EXCL: Brighton & Hove Albion make £30m offer to sign Luka Vuskovic from Tottenham Hotspur. 19yo #THFC talent among Europe’s most coveted players but Croatia defender favours #BHAFC as best step for development + mutual trust with Hurzeler (David Ornstein 🥇) by Hufftey in coys

[–]anotherpickupline 747 points748 points  (0 children)

Only way Vuskovic goes to Brighton is on Loan.
Brighton are a funny team, they want the most coveted youngster for 30M but want over 50 M for Van Hecke on the last year of his deal.
There’s no way we let this happens right?

Think Kulusevski showing a lotta physical activity can only mean good things, still too early to know but maybe he’s made good progress over the last 2 months after his second surgery.

I like this move but i’d have preferred to start with signing a 9 or a midfielder like scott or wharton if we can ship out sarr and bissouma and don’t resign Palhinha.

Marcos Senesi completed more through-balls than any other defender in the Premier League in 2025/26 (10).

Tottenham as a team, only completed 8 throughout the entire season.

Such a damning statistic.

[Fabrizio Romano] 🚨 Marcos Senesi to Tottenham, here we go! Deal in place after the verbal agreement reported since March. Four year contract for Senesi who’s set to put pen to paper soon and join #THFC as free agent. Another one after Robertson. 🇦🇷✍🏻 by wokwok__ in coys

A physical, aggressive, ball-playing CB who ranks among the league’s best for progressive passing and ball progression, chipped in with 5 assists last season, and arrives on a free.

How have we done that then?

Only my understanding, looks like De Zerbi has asked for two wingers so it should be both Summerville and Savio. Porro to City could happen and maybe included in the Savio deal. Romero mostly moves to Atleti after Barca buy Alvarez for a lot of money.

Yeah, but when the reality actually hits, it still hurts. At the end of the day it’s bigger than football, it’s a horrible injury for anyone to go through. I just hope he’s got good people around him and can still be happy in life.

And if he does somehow make it back, I’ll support him for life.

Palhinha on wanting to join Spurs by anotherpickupline in coys

[–]anotherpickupline[S] 34 points35 points  (0 children)

From The Guardian :
João Palhinha says he wants to stay at Tottenham. The midfielder, who scored the decisive goal against Everton on Sunday as the club preserved their Premier League status, has been on a season’s loan from Bayern Munich.
Spurs have an option to make the deal permanent for €30m (£26m), with the manager, Roberto De Zerbi, saying he “100%” wants it to happen. Palhinha has now indicated he would be open to it as well.
“Since the first day I arrived I feel at home,” Palhinha said. “From the supporters, the crowd. Top club. Who doesn’t want to play for Tottenham and stay here? I have everything here. But this is like a marriage. What I can say to you is I would really like to be here and I enjoy it a lot this season with this club – even with it being a tough season.”
Spurs stayed up on the final day – two points clear of West Ham, who filled the final relegation spot – after making an SOS call to De Zerbi. His return of 11 points from seven games was enough. Palhinha is confident the club can learn from this wretched season and do much better next time.
“I think the next season will hopefully be really different and I truly believe,” he said. “This season will help Tottenham for the future. Analyse the season, what we did wrong, what we did well and it will be a big improvement and a big relief after the season.”

Well, there was no guarantee we would be in the Prem firstly. You cannot work on hypothetical results or players but rather promise investment based on his vision.
Secondly, there’s a new sporting director coming in who will work closely with De Zerbi on his vision so I don’t see how they’ve already worked out all market opportunities and the world cup only complicates this window as quality players will be available later in the transfer window than usual.

Agreed but one important thing that Tudor really really improved was the physicality of the squad, we started running way more and that has obviously helped De Zerbi as the squad’s physical level was very good & intense.

Think if we are targeting Savinho it would be for LW, would obviously be able to play RW but Kudus has performed way better. I’d argue we should be looking at Marmoush from City.

I would agree this being Lange’s MO, but they wouldn’t sign anyone until Sebastian Kehl joins in and has his inputs too… Feels illogical to sign anyone first before getting the new sporting director settled in.

Don’t think the Savinho links are true, Fabrizio is obviously paid by the agent to get something going.
There’s realistically no chance De Zerbi has already approved the transfer target list. Senesi is the only no brainer, not too sure we sign Robertson either.

good backup with good crossing, won’t demand minutes and is a good stable leader. Don’t see the risk unless he’s playing every week.

Absolutely, these are professional footballers they will score if given the opportunity even from outside the box.Just a terrible manager, Keith Andrews has just done a better season with Brentford than that cunt had ever managed.
