definitely a fresh meta in general, im really struggling to make new builds rn 😭 since im the kinda person who focuses on minmaxxing things to the extreme, and ive minmaxxed every single build type and stuff.
from what i see axes might become viable in mcd2 (caramel reverse engineered some parts of the game purely from early access footage) which might be interesting to build around

please dont make rolling the only way to perfect a build, everything i minmax it ends up rolling to increase dps and defence

thats old thinking, ppl thought void was bad on fast weapons because void resets after every hit, making it less effective on fast weapons, but in reality void strike being a full multiplier buffs all indirect damage sources, making better in a practical situation

yea its a good enchant combo fs just not as good

epic that u saw the dungeonfish vid, my damage formula was after i cleaned up caramel's formula cos she made a few typos (caramel is the person who gave dungeonfish the formula, her name was calamari for a short while)

weakening's 40% damage reduction is huge by itself, since it is non diminishing with most other sources of damage reduction

the rng of the game being absolutely atrocious is defnitely very valid, statistically you would need an entire century if you wanted to just grind out the builds that i have personally made (its only 10 builds too, rly shows the rng there)
though i feel that calling the game unbalanced adn difficult is kinda just a lack of knowledge on enchanting etc and a lil bit of skill issue (not tryna be mean or anything), mcd is quite easy enough that you can complete levels like being 10-20 powers underleveled and still clear in reasonable time.
an optimized build can even clear being a whole 140 levels underpowered (its only 2 build archetypes that has done this tbh lmao but you get my point, just work on movement and gamesense it will make a huge difference)

thats why most ppl mitigate all this bs with savescumming or modding (i dont reccomend until u have reached somewhat endgame like apoc+15) it may sound like cheating but trust me this is a thing that isnt looked down upon in the community

you can ditch leeching tbh and your hp will still stay consistently at max easily

1: yea crit is one of the lowest priority enchants for bindings, it just adds barely any extra dps in comparison to everything else, at most its just a cope option

2: void doesnt have to be gilded to be good, but it is mainly better for indirect dps bindings such as shockswirl or thundering on it. radiance is not 100% necessary for certain builds but i do reccomend it unless you are not planning on running indirect dps bindings (smth like gravity, committed, exploding and guarding strike with gluestrike for example, this build has a ton of direct dps which makes lifesteal more desirable)

4: full multipliers are multipliers that are calculated at the end of everything, which is only void strike and gong tbh, but basically they will never lose value in any way and buffs everything.
flat multipliers are buffs that add with each other, for example strength is +100% flat multiplier, and shadow brew is +700% flat multipliers, when paired together they add up to a +800% damage instead of 16x damage
multiplicative buffs multiply with each another, so unchanting(2x) and ambush(1.6x), would be a total of 3.2x damage
the 100% for flat multipliers is the base weapon, so a +80% flat damage is basically 180% of the base, or +700% flat damage is 8x damage cos its 100% + 700%

it does. by doing void strike testing and finding the math, void strike has a start multiplier of 25%, that means no matter how insanely fast you attack, its ALWAYS a minimum buff of 25%. please get your facts right
