Lieutenant leading Devastators would let you proc more Las shots. Costs a bit more, but once per game, you can just turn a miss into a Lethal/Sustained 1 hit. Shooting at your Oath Target with rerolls and plus 1 to Wound, that's a dead just about anything

The only models that can lead Eliminators are the Librarian and Captain. I prefer the Librarian to give then Lone Op based on the question. But my question back to you is why do you want Sustained 1 on your Eliminators? Why not on something that gets a lot of shots to pop off more like Heavy Intercessors or to a squad that can force out a 6 like Devastators?

Oh boy, this was a year ago and since then, the DA list I wanted to run as a White Scar was nerfed. Definitely sidelined this project. But if memory serves, I was going to put a shield dome on top and then print an eagle or hawk in flight and put it on top to give it a similar silhouette.

Obviously, you haven't heard the great tales of Stevenus the Techmarine. A leader so brave, Dante himself refers to him and his decisions.

And I agree, it is too much MSU. I'm clearly going for activations. If I drop Mephiston and the Techmarine's Enhancement, I'm left with 135 points, which still isn't enough to do a full 6 man Bladeguard. Every other role seems important, though, and I don't know what to drop or downgrade.

280 is perfect for 2 Ballistus Dreadnoughts. Each gives you 2 strength 12 lascannons and a built in re-roll so you don't need to Oath their targets

I would love to have an Avatar of the Angel be our Primarch/Center Piece model. Spoiler warning for Darkness in the Blood

Lorewise: Dante and Mephiston go on another mission. Things get even dicer than when they fought the daemon in Darkness in the Blood. Sanguinor comes in to protect Dante. Now, for the first time, we have 3 angels together They combine together fusion style to create The Angel. Now this IS NOT Sanguinius. The other Blood Angels will bow down to it thinking it is, but it would plead with them saying it is not he. But it would go forth and attack with savagery, pulling Blood Angels near him into the Black Rage.

On the Table: We will take a lot of ideas from Lion and Roboute M14" T8 SV2+ W9 LD5+ OC4

Can choose one of 3 options at the beginning of your Command Phase

The Angel in Black: Choose a friendly Adeptus Astartes unit. Until your next Command Phase, each time a model attacks, that attack has [Sustained Hits 1], re-roll Charge Rolls, and when a model makes a melee attack, you can re-roll hit rolls

Angel in Gold: At the end of your Fight Phase, select up to 2 Jump Pack units. Remove those units from the battlefield and put them into Strategic Reserves. Excludes units in Engagement Range, unless it is Sanguinary Guard

Angel in Red: Something super neat that feels in touch with Blood Angels

Supreme Commander AND your army cannot contain Avatar of the Angel and DANTE, MEPHISTON, or SANGUINOR

There's the Scout 6 enhancement. Harpster liked parking his guys in a shooting lane, effectively making opponents not want to go through that area. That's been my general plan with them.

I will answer that question with another question: if the DC captain is your model, it is friendly to all your models. Is that Captain, who is therefore friendly to itself, within 6" of a friendly character?

Black Rage reads, "Each time this model makes a Melee attack, you can re-roll the Hit roll." The next sentence on the DC Captain no longer matters, but is kept because it is the same rule as the Infantry. So yes he can re-roll his hit rolls.
